Hello, i have a Samba AD Domain with multiple DC's at the moment all client are connectet to printer via dc2. Is theere a way to connect then in a failover mode? (in other words print via dc1 of dc2 is down) Best Regards Basti

There's nothing wrong with that path. If your DNS is working, you should be able to connect to \\foo, which is your AD domain. It will just pick one of your DCs instead of a static one. hello, we have a samba AD DC and some samba fileservers. Version: 4.5.16-Debian (van belle repo) Debaian version: 9.8 Some clients windows 7 and windows 10 randomly lost connection to share. I have setup an samba 4 AD DC. The Domain Administrator SAMDOM\Administrator can't create GPO (access denied). SAMDOM\Administrator is member of Domain Admins group.
