Well, we're talking about an uncompressed format. OggMNG is already "FLAC for video". However, it doesn't do

[LLVMdev] Color diagnostics
Hi Hans, I used the official Ubuntu binary: http://llvm.org/releases/3.6.0/clang+llvm-3.6.0-x86_64-linux-gnu-ubuntu-14.04.tar.xz Seems to me that it should be an optional dependency. If the target system has tinfo or ncurses, it should use it, otherwise fallback to no color. On Mon, Mar 30, 2015 at 6:02 PM, Hans Wennborg <hans at chromium.org> wrote: > Hi Perry, > > On Mon, Mar

[LLVMdev] [LLVM, llc] TypeLegalization, DAGCombining, vectors loading
Dan, I completely agree with you. The vectorizer (or whoever generates this vector code) should be aware of the target instruction set and decide on the vectorization factor accordingly. When our vectorizer[1] decides on the vectorization factor, it takes into account the available instruction set, as well as the operations used in the program. For example, AVX1 focuses on floating point

popular R packages
I would like to get some idea of which R-packages are popular, and what R is used for in general. Are there any statistics available on which R packages are downloaded often, or is there something like a package-survey? Something similar to http://popcon.debian.org/ maybe? Any tips are welcome! ----- Jeroen Ooms * Dept. of Methodology and Statistics * Utrecht University Visit

First time with Ruby - how to print "Hello World!" via web-server
Hello Everyone, first off - I''m NOT a programmer. I know HTML/CSS very well and PHP quite well, yet not I''m in need of a more "active" language and I''ve decided to go with Ruby. Thing is, I''ve been able to find ton of tutorials, but NOT ONE answers the most basic question - what exactly do I have to upload to the server to simply get a (any) response
