drag and drop problem
...revert => false, but that is only part
of the job.).
Even more challaging is to found a way of reassigning a resource: I
would like to get a person back from a project into the pool of
available persons again.
I tried lots of things but I cannot make the drop action (form the
shopping card div bacl into the products div) update the products div.
The cart div is the only one updated. I wonder if it is the nesting of
the divs that can make it work ? A drop on the waste bin does update the
shopping cart, also, so there should be simple trick to get the products
box to be updated also (maybe refl...

How bad is "rm -rf /" ?
...enever applicable). Therefore, once resembling
device is deleted from /dev, there will be no more changes to the content
on hard drive platters. So, all in all "rm -rf /" is much less disatrous
than it sounds. It only obliterates stuff that every sysadmin can
re-create (like /boot or /bin bacl then when it was not symlink to
/usr/bin). So, happy "rm -rf /"-ing everybody!
I know there are many experts on this list (from whom I constantly learn
something!). They probably give much better explanation of what I observed
in the experiment I described.
Cheers,
Valeri

Routing/forwarding/shaping problems in v2.2.x (Long - sorry)
...2.x, would it be
possible to instead set up a dummy network device, and set up an egress
shaper on the physical interface, and forward everything to the dummy
intgerface, and then use the dummy interface as the default gateway?
Effectively this would do the same thing as setting up two routers
bacl-to-back, and using only egress shaping on both routers to achieve
ingress shaping? Kind of like having a logical, rather than a physical
router?
2) ipmasqadm portfw unstable/unreliable
I have tried to use this approach to forward ports from the firewall to an
internal server. It works OK initi...
