Upgrading ZFS Version on Solaris 08/07
I wanted to crossgrade from OpenSolaris b65 to Solaris 10 08/07 for my main
fileserver, but I found that I could not import my zpool due to a version
mismatch. Is there any way to upgrade only ZFS on 08/07 so that it matches
or exceeds the version used by b68?

Privileges
Hi all!
I need a non-root user to be able to perform zfs snapshots and rollbacks.
Does anybody know what privileges that should be specified in
/etc/user_attr ?
Best regards,

The read IO activity you are seeing is a direct result of re-writes
on the ZFS storage pool. If you were to recreate the test from
scratch, you would notice that on the very first pass of write I/Os
from ''dd'', there would be no reads. This is an artifact of using
zvols...

Best use of 4 drives?
I''m putting together a NexentaOS (b65)-based server that has 4 500 GB drives on it. Currently it has two, set up as a ZFS mirror. I''m able to boot Nexenta from it, and it seems to work ok. But, as I''ve learned, the mirror is not properly redundant, and so I can''t just have a drive fail (when I pull one, the O...
