System Clock Offset in b129 dom0
Since upgrading to b129, I''ve noticed that my system clock is ahead by
five hours, exactly how much I am behind UTC (US Eastern Time). The
strange thing is it only happens when I have xen enabled. If I ''svcadm
disable milestone/xvm; reboot'' the clock is correct again. If I correct
the time ma...

virt-manager in b129
It is a pleasure to see what it has become, but
- it scrambles the vnc-sessions (start virt-manager, open a win console,

machine and may

Hi, I''m referring to;
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6977913
It should be in Solaris 11 Express, has anyone tried this? How this is supposed to work? Any documentation available?

ZFS/OSOL/Firewire...
...h is well below the theoretical 400Mbps that 1394 is supposed to be able to handle. I know that these two disks can go significantly higher since I was seeing 30MB/sec when they were used on Macs previously in the same daisy-chain configuration.
I get the same symptoms on both the 2009.06 and the b129 machines.
It''s not a critical issue to me since these drives will eventually just be used for send/recv backups over a slow link, but it doesn''t augur well for the day I need to restore data...
Anyone else seen this behaviour with Firewire devices and OpenSolaris?

Is ZFS internal reservation excessive?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
zpool and zfs report different free space because zfs takes into account
an internal reservation of 32MB or 1/64 of the capacity of the pool,
what is bigger.
So in a 2TB Harddisk, the reservation would be 32 gigabytes. Seems a bit
excessive to me...

interaction coefficient in a logit or probit glm has interpreted it
incorrectly.
