app_conference, CVS HEAD, SIP and Xen
...even connect to a conference
channel with two phones. But each phone cannot send audio to each other.
They just connect and go silent.
Is this the current state of app_conferences development? I have read
few comments online that sound like some people are using app_conference
with sound.

Tracking time-varying objects with the DLM package (dynamic linear models in R)
Hello all,
I am working with the dlm package, specifcially doing a dlm multivariate Y
linear regression using
dlmModReg and dlmFilter and dlmSmooth...
I have altereted the inputs into dlmModReg to make them time-varying using
JFF, JW etc.
How do I track the results of the time varying system matrices?
For example what I am really interested in is JW - my system variance matrix
for each time

time out issues with icecast2
But the source computer runs the other os, so I don't have too much
choice as to what I can do and the timeout problems remain with mp3
as well. The persons involved don't want to use .ogg for now so that
is also not an option. Is this an icecast bug, or some other problem?

...egin implementing these ideas as a new project, tentatively called
"PortStreamer." I'm quite enthusiastic about this eye catching project
name, but I'm also open to the possibility of dropping this project in
favor of enhacing IceS instead.
Comments or suggestions?

Ices on OS X
So this is just an update of what I've been doing lately. I don't post
to this list much but I'm on IRC a lot. So hi everyone...
I had this idea that a live input module for ices on OS X would be a
good thing. I started to look into the CoreAudio API but then I
discovered that JACK can theoretically run on OS X. JACK is cool and
Karl's most recent source has an input module

app_conference and AGI
Hi,
i was successful in compiling app_conference and setting up an
conference was quite easy. :-)
Does anyone knows if it is possible to have an IVR accessable from
inside the conference. So, if i dialed into an conference i want to be
able to press '*' and then the actual discussion is muted for me and i
and menu is read to me. Something like the ${MEETME_AGI_BACKGROUND} in
MeetMe.

time out issues with icecast2
...er this is an icecast problem which it certainly seems to be, or
what else might be going on. I know Windows is not too great, but
that is what they have and they don't have the bandwidth to be the
server themselves -- that is where I thought icecast could do the
streaming.

Ices 3.0 compile issues
Hi,
Actually I'm using icecast 1.3.12 libshout2 (.so.3) and ices 0.2.3, all
compiled on the same machine and it's working well.
But I can't compile ices 3.0. It's telling various errors like
In file included from ../../src/definitions.h:99,
from playlist.c:22:
../../src/icestypes.h:38: parse error before "shout_t"
Or
../../src/ices_config.h:22: parse

It's a question of getting the compiler environment setup to do the port. Much
of libshout and ices2 are ready but, certain things like live input are different
from whats in windows.

[Interopcast-general] about translatingdocumentation, but not only documentation.
Hi all. I just joined this list but have been working with Karl H and Arc
on IRC for a while on using ices/icecast in a radio studio in new york.
I'm pretty involved in Linux audio and have a good superficial
understanding of what's available in the Linux world for audio.
To keep this thread on topic, I've mentioned to Karl H before but I guess
it would be worthwile to mention here
