[icecast-dev] Ices 3.0 compile issues
Hi, Actually I'm using icecast 1.3.12 libshout2 (.so.3) and ices 0.2.3, all compiled on the same machine and it's working well. But I can't compile ices 3.0. It's telling various errors like In file included from ../../src/definitions.h:99, from playlist.c:22: ../../src/icestypes.h:38: parse error before "shout_t" Or ../../src/ices_config.h:22: parse error before '*' token playlist.c:25: parse error before "ices_config" Etc.. I've tried various things like getting the latest nightly snapshot for ices. Any idea ? IS this because icecast2 should be in the path ? If yes, do somebody can confirm I can use ices-3 with icecast3.12? Hi: You can use ices 0.3 with icecast 1.x, but you need to use libshout2. Either grab the release or grab it from CVS. If so, ices 0.3 and icecast 1 go together, while ices 2 and icecast 2 go together, each needs their respective libshout as well. -lee --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body.
