client disconnects after one song is played || Winamp
I will give the older version of winamp a try. Interestingly
enough, I found that zinf on linux on the internet does work.
I wonder if these other clients on mac and winblows use an
out dated version of vorbis.

sssd on DC for fileserver
...created using anything else on the

It is entirely possible that there is some process I haven't restarted
on the machine, of course, that is causing this - but if so, I don't
know what that would be. I have made sure (ps axuw|grep mb; also grep
samba, grep bind) that there are no samba processes still running when
I shut down samba, before restarting it.
I'm reluctant to restart the whole machine but will do so if that's
likely to help things along. (I'm reminded of the old joke that 90% of

too much sockets open by asterisk
Hi All!
I've set up Asterisk asterisk-1.6.2.2
My question is why asterisk opens so many sockets and does not close
that?
My diagnostics commmands:
# lsof | grep asteriske | grep UDP | wc -l
1214
# ls -l /proc/`ps axuw | grep asteriskexe | grep -v grep | awk '{ print $2 }'`/fd | wc -l

rpart on Alpha under OSF
Running on an Alpha machine which reports (uname -a)

obtain core dumps whenever I try to use package rpart. I have R
REMOVE'd the rpart package, downloaded the source rpart_1.0-7.tar from

sssd on DC for fileserver
Hi,
Some advice, if I may..
I have two Samba4 domain controllers, that I recently switched to
using sssd (against these same DCs) for UNIX user authentication -
this part works perfectly.
However, I am using one of these as a Samba file server also. When I
create a file via a SMB share, the UNIX UID the file is owned by is
the old 'winbind' UID (e.g. 3000007) rather than the new
