reaper spawner
Hi,
Anyone know where i can find out more info on Reaper/Spawner.
Currently, every time i add a new account on my production machine, i
have to restart the whole server. After about 150 accounts, this puts a
real strain on the server (it takes 3 full minutes before i can access
any site on the server).
I think reaper/spawner is my answer, but i am havving trouble figuring
out how to use it.

weird load values
...ue is a 15 minute period, well, it doesn't seem
possible that one can have a 500+ 15 minute sample without having
observed a spike in the 5 minute sample at least 5 minutes before.
Also, there aren't 500+ processes on these systems -- it's typically
around 100 total processes (ps auxw | wc -l). (Is there a way to see
the total count of kernel-level threads?)
Thoughts?
best,
Jeff

Not sure which one is _leaking_ the memory, so I took the one which ate memory
more than the others (by "ps auxw").
Please, find the report here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/76qdq1x89brmib0/samba.1520.pool-usage.txt.gz?dl=0

Do you have spamassassin running on the machine? I remember at one point,
it was tagging the daily log messages as spam--this was awhile ago, I don't
remember the details or even if I fixed it or it was fixed by an update.

Sometimes one can break loose the logjam; if so:

xm save error
Hi,
I tried to issue: xm save VMID FILE, and got the following error:
Error: Error: [Failure instance: Traceback:
twisted.internet.error.ConnectionRefusedError, Connection was refused
by other side: 111: Connection refused.
xm create works fine, xend is running on domain 0, I can log in the VM
through xm console VMID and ssh without problems. I can also stop and
restart the domain.
