Mapping samba shares to a second linux box
Hi,
I have a very frustrating problem and I can't seem to find a solution. I am
running redhat 8.0GPL and samba 2.2.8 on two linux boxes. The first linux
box is my storage (used by multiple pc's). The second is my web-server
running apache and php. The web-server recieves files which are meant to be
stored to the first linux box and processed by other computers on the
network.

Samba / automounter
Hi folks,
in our group we're working with samba on a SunOS 4.1.3 workstation and
about 30 wfwg and win95 clients for several time without any trouble
(samba-1.9.16p6 release). Now i've installed version 1.9.17p2 and got the
following problem:
I can't reach directories on an automounted volume on the Server which is
not currently mounted by changing directory to that drive on the

Hey all. I am working on getting solaris 10 and 9 clients authenticating to
active directory. We have a test setup with windows 2003 r2 and the unix
fields filled out. All was going well with a combination of pam_krb5 and
nss_ldap and ldap mappings, including working automouting of home directories.
This included orginally, set up instructions from microsoft where they said to
create a user account, assign a password, and generate a keytab to transfer to
the unix host to import. This process also went well.
This changed when we tried to use a newer samba and share = do...

Well, "My" preffered for now is systemd-networkd.
Current debian still used /etc/network/ but next will be systemd as default.
Ubuntu uses : /etc/netplan/
Howto configure it.
