Australian Options
I would just like to get a refresh of the situation for Australian users. It would seem that the TE400P is currently available and is likely to acheive approval for use in Australia within the next 2 months ? (when is the end of summer?). Once this is done, it will certainly suit larger installations, but it still leaves a number of 'gaps'. Anyone with...

Credit card processing through Australian gateways (eway etc)
Hi there Has anyone out there embarked on credit card processing in a Rails app through Australian gateways such as eway? I''m aware of Payment and ActiveMerchant, but neither support Australian gateways. It''s a little beyond me right now to hack these to work with eway. Any clues would be appreciated here. Australian Internet Filtering Position
...his appearing everywhere: http://www.dontfilterme.com and http://nocleanfeed.com/ Just trying to get a general opinion with what everyone thinks of the filtering situation in Australia. Whether you believe its a good thing or a bad thing or you don't really care. I'm writing a letter to an Australian MP (Member of Parliament) and I want to get some actual opinions of what other systems administrators think of the internet filter, even if they are not in Australia. Not only at a technical aspect but at an opinion aspect as well. Either reply on list or pm me. I just want to get a general idea....

Any help will be greatly appreciated, apologies if this is a simple question -- this is the first time I'm trying to d...

fImport data from Australian stock exchange
Dear all, I have been importing data into R from yahoo using yahooSeries, however the older version I was using no longer works with the syntax I have developed. I downloaded the latest package and it downloads data from the U.S. just fine, but the ticker codes for the Australian stock exchange (asx) do not get downloaded. a simple example, this works (US stock): stock<-yahooSeries(symbols = "IBM", from = "1999-01-01" , to = Sys.Date(), source = NULL, frequency = "daily", try = TRUE) but this does not (asx stock): stock<-yahooSeries(sym...

Administrivia: Australian co-lo space wanted
Hi, I would like to find a home for a public anoncvs, cvsweb and snapshot repository for Portable OpenSSH in a decent datacenter. Can anyone recommend (off-list) good and affordable co-lo facilities in Australia, preferably Melbourne? The facilities needed are a couple of RU and Internet connectivity. It is all working perfectly except I can't get the SPA-3000 to pass caller ID to Asterisk. It passes "Display Name", "User ID" and any "PSTN
