What wrong with asteriskathome.org
I saw on here where there was an asteriskathome site where I
could sign up for the mailing list. However when I bring up
that site I just get a blank page. Is
www.asteriskathome.org the correct address?

Forget Asterisk@Home 0.7 :-) :-) 0.8 is out
0.8 appears to have been released. Start with that.
It is very quick to update your current 0.6 or 0.7 iso. Just do this
with rsync to do a differential copy:
$ mv asteriskathome-0.7.iso asteriskathome-0.8.iso
$ rsync -av --progress --partial \
prdownloads.sourceforge.net::sourceforge/a/as/asteriskathome/asteriskathome-0.8.iso
.
$ rsync -av \
prdownloads.sourceforge.net::sourceforge/a/as/asteriskathome/asteriskathome-md5sum.txt
.
$ grep iso asteriskathome-md5sum.txt...

asteriskathome maximun channels per trunk
I'm using asteriskathome 2.5. I'm using 2 spa3000 for dialing-out. I
configured a trunk for each one with maximun channels=1 and an
outbound route that includes both trunks. When a second outgoing call
is placed, Asterisk tries to place it in the same that is already in
use resulting in a busy tone. ?What can be the p...

automatic fax detection in asteriskathome
How is working the automatic fax detection? I'm making tests in
asteriskathome and the ivr plays, the fax sends little bips but
asterisk don't detects it as a fax.
(for testing I routed one caller id to the ivr).

Sorry to be a bother ISO root password
As far as I can make out the root password for the ISO download is
supposed to be epping or EPPING depending upon which version you are
using.
I've downloaded an ISO image from the following link but neither passwords
seem to work :(
http://ovh.dl.sourceforge.net:80/sourceforge/asteriskathome/asteriskathome-0.6.iso
any one know the password for this one?

Asterisk@Home 1.1b1 has been released
...but Sugar has
the best contact management we have seen. With click
to dial functionality and the ability to import data
from other contact managers it’s a great fit for
Asterisk@Home.
We have also added new version of the usual Asterisk
software AMP and Flash operator panel.
Download from http://asteriskathome.sourceforge.net
For support please read the Asterisk@Home Handbook
http://asteriskathome.sourceforge.net/handbook/index.html
and use our support forum at

Install failed on Asteriskathome
I was installing my first Asterisk@Home and every thing seemed to go ok
untill it got to a line that says:
find: /var/www/html/admin/: No such file or directory
find: /var/www/html/admin/: No such file or directory
There it still sits but not doing anything for over an hour now.
Has anyone run into this before? Any Idea's? I hate to do a ctl c on it in
case it is still doing something.

Operating AAH v1.1
Hi,
Just set up AAH 1.1 using an HFC BRI line and 5 IP phones as per
http://voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=ACT+P104+IP+Phone
The dialplan was configured through AMP and has nothing fancy in it.
As a first time user of not only Asterisk, but also a PBX, there are
some operator teething problems.
After much googling & searching of voip-info.org, I cannot find any
answers to these

Real-time Database Front-end
I've had Asterisk working on a test platform really well, but I've never
found a decent web front end, that works in real-time.
I've got a couple of incoming numbers that I'd like to have some IVR on
(i.e. select this option etc), and then distribute the calls appropriately
to various SIP agents, but also in some cases back out to a PSTN/Mobile
number.
I have this working

Asterisk@Home
...It includes a
web GUI that allows easy editing of the Asterisk
Config files. Asterisk@Home has many other features
including xPL (home automation) support, database
integration, and usage statistics.
If you would like to try it for yourself you can
download it from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/asteriskathome/
I have received some questions on Asterisk@Home from
this list and from my page on voip-info.org here a few
answers.
1. I tried to install Asterisk@Home on my XXXX pc and
it says it don't support my system.
Asterisk@Home is based on RHEL 3 Linux. RHEL 3 does
not support many older systems....

How to adjust codec voice detection? Changin RxGain does not help me...
...not
talking loud, the voice is cut by Asterisk. I tried increase RxGain but
it changed nothing (was talking louder but voice still cut.) I use XLite
as soft phone.
I think this is probably a codec setting... but how do I check that on
server side?
I just don't know what to do. All works fine (asteriskathome) but I
always have problems about the sound being not enought loud and being
cut (as if it was voice detection... but not working properly.)
Thanks for any help.

Please suggest best and easiest approach ?
Thank you !

3 PSTN lines, 3 IP Phones
Hi all,
Newbie quest here.
I have 3 PSTN lines (2430-2432) setup by the CLEC in a hunt group coming in to a TDM04B and 3 Grandstream gxp-2000's (say a,b and c) and Asteriskathome installed.
I want all phones (a,b,c) to be able to take calls from the hunt group. Does this mean I must make 9 SIP extensions on * ?
3 for each IP phone? and group them in trtiplets (ring groups?) corresponding to each of the 3 PSTN lines?
If a call comes in on 2430, and it'...

Re: X100P problems
...the problem was a missing signalling line in zapata.conf. Now in
and out work.
Also, it was news that "reload" from the console doesn't reflect changes
made in zaptel and zapata.conf entries. Any other config files that it
doesn't reload?

Asterisk@Home Forum Suggestions
...me users (I guess it could
be used by any asterisk users). I am looking for suggestions on forum
categories. If you have any, I would greatly appreciate your input. I
have some already setup but I am not so sure of how logical the
categories are.
You can view what is already in place at http://www.asteriskathome.org.
As you can see, the forum descriptions are a bit sparse as well, so
suggestions there would be welcome.
Thanks for your help and have a great day!
