I used to have sound when i first installed wine, it stopped after a crash, then i noticed that it auto mutes the sound when i run any program with wine, i unmute it but still cant get no sound. Today I have a problem with soundcard recognition. In winecfg, the alsa-driver MIDI Out and In devices are: Midi Through Port-0 ?? I have done everything I have done in the past to get sound in wine. When people have audio trouble with programs in wine the first suggestion is always to remove pulseaudio, I'm not questing that - it often fixes the problem, but I do wonder if there are plans to make wine and pulseaudio work better together?
