...For this program, ran in the terminal window, but I presume that since it ran "OK", there were no messages in the terminal window* . The problem is that when the program windows open, they don't scroll - the slider bar snaps back to the top and the page doesn't move at all. (*ashin at ashinsopaka-laptop:~/.wine/drive_c/CSCD$ wine CSCD.exe ashin at ashinsopaka-laptop:~/.wine/drive_c/CSCD$ ) As per the above instructions, I "winetricked" the richedit files, but that didn't work either.

Hi Austin, Alas, no, the program cannot be downloaded, but the CD can be ordered (free) from pariyatti.org. Chattha Sangayana - bit of a challenge
OK, there might be one other person who sure could use help with this, but I personally would greatly appreciate any assistance someone can give. Issue #1: Have installed this program (http://www.tipitaka.org/cst4) and Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 SP1, and when launching the program, it appears to "start", but then nothing happens, even when waiting the 15-20 minutes recommended on

Hi Austin, As a Buddhist monk there were many reasons for choosing to go with Linux, mostly ethical. Consequently, there isn't much time to learn, coupled with electricity and internet connectivity limitations, so troubleshooting has been an OJT kinda thing.
