Modelling survival with time-dependent covariates
Hi all,
I am looking at the tutorial/appendix from John Fox on ?Cox Proportional-Hazards Regression for Survival Data? available here:
http://cran.r-project.org/doc/contrib/Fox-Companion/appendix-cox-regression.pdf
I am particularly interested in modelling survival with time-dependent covariates (Section 4).
The data look like this:

RE: Re: Details (verification)
Hi,
Your message for me, Ray Rasmussen, has been sent to a screening program because
I've been getting about 100 spams per day and sticking vodoo pins into cans of spam hasn't helped.
If you want to reach me, it's easy. For this one time only - to verify that you are who you say you are., follow the instructions below. You'll be directed to a screening website and a way of signing

How to specify "newdata" in a Cox-Modell with a time dependent interaction term?
Dear Mr. Therneau, Mr. Fox, or to whoever, who has some time...
I don't find a solution to use the "survfit" function (package:
survival) for a defined pattern of covariates with a Cox-Model
including a time dependent interaction term. Somehow the definition of
my "newdata" argument seems to be erroneous.
I already googled the problem, found many persons having the

E911 Testing !
I believe the 911 is a serious issue if one does an asterisk installation in
an office. How do you test 911? Won't they arrest you or something for
dialing 911 for no reason and talking to one of their agents who could have
taken a more important call?
On the other hand what an emergency comes up (like someone got seriously
injured) and on top of that asterisk crashed all of a sudden

Those crackers who build these botnets are the ones who rent out botnet
time to people who just was to get the work done. There is a large

Getting individual co-ordinate points in k medoids cluster
Hello I am using k medoids in R to generate sets of clusters for datasets
through time. I can plot the individual clusters OK but what I cannot find
is a way of pulling out the co-ordinates of the individual points in the
cluster diagrams - none of the kmed$... info sets seems to be this.
Beneath is an example of a k medoid prog using the built in US arrests

Schoenfeld Residuals with tied data
Dear all,
I am struggling with calculation of Schoenfeld residuals of my Cox Ph
models.
Based on the formula as attached, I calculated the Schoenfeld residuals for
both non tied and tied data, respectively.
And then I validated my results with R using the same data sets. However, I
found that my results for non-tied data was ok but the results for tied data
were different from R's.
