questions about boxplots
Hi, there. I have two questions about using R to create boxplots. 1. The function boxplot() plots the outliers. How can I label the exact values arount these outlier points? Does R have an option allow me to do that? 2. How can I put two boxplots in one x-y axis? Thanks. [LLVMdev] Disabling Verifier
...t the funcionality in the Verifier.cpp significantely slows down the compilation, especially for big basic blocks. In this case the llvm::DominatorTree::dominates() seems to consume a lot of time. Some debugging has shown that it is the Assert2() macro usage in the Verifier::visitInstruction(), arount this place: // Definition must dominate use unless use is unreachable! Assert2(DT->dominates(Op, &I) || !DT->dominates(&BB->getParent()->getEntryBlock(), BB), "Instruction does not dominate all uses!", Op, &I); Question: Is it possible to...

gluster volume + lvm : recommendation or neccessity ?
After some extra reading about LVM snapshots & Gluster, I think I can conclude it may be a bad idea to use it on big storage bricks. I understood that the LVM maximum metadata, used to store the snapshots data, is about 16GB. So if I have a brick with a volume arount 10TB (for example), daily snapshots, files changing ~100GB : the LVM snapshot is useless. LVM's snapshots doesn't seems to be a good idea with very big LVM partitions. Did I missed something ? Hard to find clear documentation on the subject. ++ Quentin Le 11/10/2017 ? 09:07, Ric Whe...

sticking a speex file inside a vorbis file
I forget the correct terminology, but anyway, sumthin struck me while getting help for sorting out my previous problem. Among other things (apart from doing the gigs with my computer) I use the G4s (and soon hopefully 1 of those nice dual G4s we just got) to record tracks of the different ppl & bands on our course (which is BTEC Popular music btw) using Pro Tools. Since Vorbis has the

Problem with 2GB USB Pendrive

And the las step: ---BEGIN--- # syslinux -sf /dev/sdc1 syslinux: only 512-byte sectors are supported # ---END--- The questions (after 3 hours playing, two hours googling and 30 minutes writing this e-mail) are: Does anyone know this problem and any solution or work arount to allow me boot with this type of USB pendrive? (thinking in kernel patch, syslinux patch, binary file that I can "dd' into some pendrive's zones, etc...) Will the syslinux (or any analogous project) developers make an upgrade to correct this problem? I tryed this steps making FAT16...

gluster volume + lvm : recommendation or neccessity ?
Hi everyone, I've read on the gluster & redhat documentation, that it seems recommended to use XFS over LVM before creating & using gluster volumes. Sources : https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Storage/3/html/Administration_Guide/Formatting_and_Mounting_Bricks.html http://gluster.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Administrator%20Guide/Setting%20Up%20Volumes/ My point is :

quick xtable questions
Hi, I'm creating a lot of tables in a file for inclusion in a Latex document. When I try to compile that document there is an error "too many unprocessed floats." Is there a way to correct this? Also, in a Latex table I want R to put in a $\beta$ in the caption, but it puts a weird system character instead of the \b Brian

[monorepo] Downstream branch zipping tool available
Building on the great work that James Knight did on migrate-downstream-fork.py (Thanks, James!) [1], I've created a simple tool to take migrated downstream fork branches and zip them into a single history given a history containing submodule updates of subprojects [2]. With migrate-downstream-fork.py, one is left with a set of unrelated histories, one per subproject: llvm
