The Iaxy is appealing because to me, it seems less "no name", but this one says that it supports using hostnames, whereas apparently the iaxy only supports IP addresses?? Anyone out there using AT-320 phones with IAX? Can you get MWI to work? I can only get it to work with SIP. Also, I note that (on the phone) dtmf has to be set to "sip info" or dtmf doesn't seem to work at all (when the phone's under SIP). Sounds like the IAX firmware isn't all that finished? Eric.

Does anyone know of an ATA which has a modifieable (open source) firmware AND that supports faxing. Granted most of them don't do faxing well but that is more of a problem with the network side. I'm looking for an ATA\Voice Gateway that runs IAX and has several ports (8 would be nice). I purchased an IAX2 hardphone, X100 otherwise known as a Netweb X100 or YWH100 with a PA168 chip and the latest firmware 1.45 available, from a US retailer. I was able to configure the phone to work with my Asterisk box, except the hold and transfer buttons do not work. When you press the hold button, it rings endlessly, the transfer button, displays "transferring" but it does nothing.
