mann whitney u
Dear Sir, I am comparing two samples using wilcox.test in R. Literature appears to describe mann whitney u test as the most appropriate test to use on my data. is the wilcox.test function equivalent to mann-whitney u? Is there a way to gain the U-value as apposed to the W-value in R? Thank you

Windows 10 anniversary update (1607) causing profile sync errors
...nto your account." So, I began uninstalling the last round of updates. I cannot uninstall the KB3176936 which is the version 1607 upgrade. (I have disabled automatic updates on the 1511 machine . . cannot disable on the 1607 version . . . .) I will add that when I "dismiss" (as apposed to "sign out") it appears that I can still save minor test changes. Like making a new text document. After sign out and log back in the file is still there on the desktop. Perhaps I am having a slightly different issue? -- _______________________________ Bob Wooden of Donelson Troph...

[LLVMdev] inconsistent wording in the LangRef regarding "shl nsw"

It looks like LLVM really implements (1) and (2) is just a misleading anecdote. So I'll change my vote from "remove (1)" to "remove

VOIP PRI Gateways
...services are on their way out. I am testing a service provided by one of the telcos I am told that it cannot provide ISDN cause codes for disconnected/invalid numbers and all we get is the audio. Also the service no longer sends the progress event RINGING to indicate the line is actual ringing (as apposed to the audio) Has anyone else ran into this problem and does anyone have any ideas how to address it? Can DAHDI detect ringing tones on PRI lines? -- Cheers, Daniel

Samba4 AD/LDAP question
...ported in /var/log/secure. Can someone please explain why this happens, and what step have i missed that would allow regular users to log in? That being said, my second question is, if it possible to have the samba4 server in domain controller mode, but have Linux clients authenticate via ldap as appose to winbind? For example, when configuring an authentication method if it would possible to use LDAP instead of samba/winbind? I tried to configure LDAP (correct base, host, uri, etc..) but when it doesn't seem to pull any info? eg id or getent doesn't work. Any pointers are greatly appreci...

T100P E&M Wink Trunk
I am setting up a box with a T100P. Everything is going well. The company I am working with has their one phone switch gear. They provisioned me a E&M Wink T1. Cannot do PRI unfortunately. We chose E&M so we could pass an unlimited number of DIDs to the trunk as apposed to FXS loopstart signaling. I can make outbound calls no problem, but I am having problems with the dial plan for inbound calls. The way they setup the trunk inbound calls have a dialed number as "*<callerid>*<dialed_number>". I do not know how to parse this out and map it in...

Xen in Linux distributions
Hello, I have been using Xen for many years now. I have mainly used it on Ubuntu and Debian, but I have also tried it on CentOS 5. Most of my machines have been installed a few years back. Then there seemed to be good packages for most distributions and a lot of nice examples on how to get it working. Now that I am trying to install a new server with the latest version of my favorite

[PATCH] Included reserved memory regions in dom0 iommu mappings
This adds a boolean boot parameter to xen to allow reserved memory regions to be added to the iommu mappings for dom0. The parameter is "iommu_include_reserved" and is off by default. A warning is also traced when incorrect RMRR to system memory map values are detected. This is being added to address some incorrect BIOS''s that do not report correctly the requied reserved memory

lm coefficients output confusing
...? 0.1 ? ? 1 Residual standard error: 0.1168 on 77 degrees of freedom Multiple R-squared: 0.1984, Adjusted R-squared: 0.1359 F-statistic: 3.176 on 6 and 77 DF, p-value: 0.00774 What i really don't understand is why the lm summary lists the hour numbers in the coefficient of the lm, as apposed to just reading HR? On top of that if R does display the data like this then i don't understand why it omits hour 2? If i can get this to work correctly can I use the p value to determine which of the hours is significantly different to the others - so in this example hour 5 is significantly d...

dir.xiph.org only listing Ogg streams
Everyone, I have modified the yp cgi script on dir.xiph.org to reject non-ogg streams. As the site has grown in popularity, it hasn't scaled well, and maintaining the database was eating most of the resources on the server. We did some minor tuning a few months ago which helped, but the load has continuted to grow and was affecting other more essential services. Given Xiph.org's

In essence this patch ensures that when the FlashHash data is stored in a cookie it is stored as a normal Ruby Hash, as apposed to an ActionController::Flash::FlashHash. As all other Ruby applications should be able to unmarshal a Hash, this will avoid the Marshal.load method in Rack::Session::Cookie from throwing a NameError exception.
