[PATCH] drm/nouveau: fix relocations applying logic and a double-free
Commit 03e0d26fcf79 ("drm/nouveau: slowpath for pushbuf ioctl") included a logic-bug which results in the relocations not actually getting applied at all as the call to nouveau_gem_pushbuf_reloc_apply() is never reached. This causes a regression with graphical corruption, triggered when relocations need to be done (for example after a suspend/resume cycle.) Fix by setting *apply_relocs

[PATCH 2/3] drm/nouveau: slowpath for pushbuf ioctl
We can't copy_*_user while holding reservations, that will (soon even for nouveau) lead to deadlocks. And it breaks the cross-driver contract around dma_resv. Fix this by adding a slowpath for when we need relocations, and by pushing the writeback of the new presumed offsets to the very end. Aside from "it compiles" entirely untested unfortunately. I need a program to work under Wine...
...Ubuntu, and it works. The Setup of the dictionary was completed with no errors, and so I have the program in the directory: C:\Program Files\UTETGDU\GDU\gdu.exe (It actually is ~/.wine/disk_c/Program Files... in my home directory). When I run $ wine gdu.exe it results this error message: err:fixup:apply_relocations No implementation for KERNEL.0, setting to 0xdeadbeef wine: Unhandled exception (thread 000a), starting debugger... ... and the program does not start. Is there anything I can do to make it working? (In the following, the full error message) Thanks a lot. Pierluigi Adami ------ error message ----...

[PATCH 1/7] drm/nouveau: fix m2mf copy to tiled gart
From: Maarten Lankhorst <maarten.lankhorst at canonical.com> Commit de7b7d59d54852c introduced tiled GART, but a linear copy is still performed. This may result in errors on eviction, fix it by checking tiling from memtype. [patch V3 00/37] mm/highmem: Preemptible variant of kmap_atomic & friends
Following up to the discussion in: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200914204209.256266093 at linutronix.de and the second version of this: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201029221806.189523375 at linutronix.de this series provides a preemptible variant of kmap_atomic & related interfaces. This is achieved by: - Removing the RT dependency from migrate_disable/enable() - Consolidating all
