Frame isn't dead, my wife is a technical writer in the EDA (electronic
design automation) business, and thats about all they use.

...drivers can be pretty wobbly. One advantage of R Postscript is that it
doesn't tack a Postscript reset (^D) on the end of every file.
As for word processors which handle Postscript inclusions, WordPerfect
for DOS (haven't got my Linux version yet) is the best I have used, and
RedHat's Applixware Words (for Linux) will also do it, although not
quite as neatly. Microsoft Word will sometimes do it, sometimes not,
although I have not used it for a while, and they may(?) have fixed it.
I think almost any Macintosh application will handle Postscript,
although I can't speak from experience....

zero replacement
AARRGGHH! Sometimes it's the simple things that are particularly frustrating,
especially late at night....
Can anyone suggest a simple means for replacing all of the zero values in a
matrix with NANs? I ended up writing an awk script to massage the input file,
which works, of course, but is rather an inelegant blunt instrument. I'd
prefer an R operation. I'm certain that
