[Mesa-dev] Crash with Mesa-10.4.4 and NV68
Hi Arno,
I think at this point the most helpful thing would be to get an
apitrace (https://github.com/apitrace/apitrace) with your "fix" in
place. Once you make the trace, change your fix to instead abort the
program, and replay the trace. This will allow us to look at the
precise call sequence that causes the issue.
What is the numerical value of ve->vertex_buffer_index when

If you (or Java, behind your back) is using an indirect draw, that
could explain the failures - I only got those "fully" right fairly
recently. These, and a few other matters, should be fixed with a more
recent mesa version - 11.2.1 was just released, I'd recommend trying
with that.
Another simple explanation is if your application is multithreaded and
is drawing concurrently from

gallium state tracker calls calloc for 0 sizes arrays ?
Hi All,
While debugging: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1008089
I made a apitrace recording of the a single slide transition
animation, and since I suspected memory corruption replayed
it using ElectrFence + glretrace, this finds a 0 sized array
allocation at src/mesa/state_tracker/st_glsl_to_tgsi.cpp: 5565:
