DO NOT REPLY [Bug 7380] New: rsync not backing up certain binaries
...cksum, i even tried with the -c option. The file "runcbl"
is the one that is different.
Here is what is happening:

I ran that with success
[root at ap01 ~]# lscss | grep 3270
0.0.002a 0.0.0008 0000/00 3270/00 yes 80 80 ff 01000000 00000000
and was able to connect and login.

...one. The recommended corrective action will most likely be to switch to M$
W2k or some such. I would like to avoid this inevitability (even if I have
to Kludge it for a while).
