Has anyone tried to compile Samba on Windows 2000? I know it's a weird idea, but I don't like the fact that W2K shares c$, d$, RPC$, etc. With Cygwin, I didn't get past configure, it complained that locking was unavaliable and bombed out. Sorry, but this may be a really dumb question. How do I load the zaptel modules wcfxo and wcfxs at boot time on my Debian Sarge system? The file zaptel.init used by the command "make config" appears to be designed for redhat type systems and does not work for me. I now have a machine configured as a domain controller authenticating all windows users via openLDAP. openLDAP is also authenticating all of our linux users. I would like to install Exchange2000 on a windows2000 machine so our windows users can do calendaring (sendmail already handles all of our email needs).
