[PATCH]ioemu: fix altgr-insert behavior
When access to a Xen DomU (Linux) from a VNC client in Windows, alt-gr key is not working properly. When Alt + another key pressed, vncserver receives Altgr down, Altgr up and key down messages in order, that causes incorrect output.
With following patch, when vncerver receives key down message, it first check if the keysym needs altgr modifer, if it needs altgr modifier but altgr is not ''down'', sending altgr keycode before sending...

AltGr not working in R GUI Script Editor (PR#9430)
...l slovenian
international characters. I am therefore using Windows XP SP2 with Input
Language (=Keyboard Locale, Control Panel/Regional and Language
Options/Languages/Details/Input language) set to Slovenian.
On slovenian keyboards characters as [, ], {, } are produced by pressing key
combinations AltGr+F, AltGr+G, AltGr+B and AltGr+N, respectively. These
combinations generally work in all Windows programs and also in R Console.
However, R Script editor produces behaves wrongly and causes:
AltGr+F to open Find dialog box,
AltGr+N to open new Script window.
Consequentially, it is not possible to t...

kbdmap & ASCII > 128
Hi,
I've just played around with kbdmap in pxelinux. I always wondered why there was no
translation for "AltGr"-Keys (the right 'Alt'-Key) (AltGr-Q generates "@" on a german
keyboard e.g.), and I found in conio.inc (syslinux 1.76):
getchar:
[..]
.kbd: xor ax,ax ; Get keyboard input
int 16h
and al,al
jz .func_key
mov bx,KbdMap ; Convert character sets

Re: Keyboard Rewrite
...n shifted)
Some of the number row is remapped to be more like the USA/Terminal form:
Key to left of '1!' (keycode 49) generates Escape (like a proper terminal)
Shift of '2' gives At (normally Quotedbl)
Shift of '3' gives NumberSign (normally Sterling)
AltGR of '3' gives Sterling
AltGR of '4' gives EuroSign
I had to change the results generated by keys to the right of 'L' such that
they made sense. So I also have a bunch of quotes there:
The key to the right of ';:', marked as "'@', keycode 48 gives...

AltGr over vnc not working
I notice that when I connect from a Windows VNC client (any VNC
distribution it seems) to the Centos desktop (Gnome) I cannot send AltGr
key combinations. The vncserver on the CentOS side is vino from Gnome. I
cannot check if the same happens when connecting from a CentOS machine to
a CentOS machine, but it looks more like Gnome simply ignores AltGr when
sent over VNC. Why would it do this? Where might I be able to change this?...

[PATCH] Handle ISO_Level3_Shift keysym as AltGr in ioemu/vncfb
Hello,
The modern (xkb) way of mapping the AltGr key (113) seems to be using the
ISO_Level3_Shift keysym (0xFE03) instead of the obsolete Mode_switch keysym
(0xFF7E).
This patch let the "keysym to scancode" translator handle the
ISO_Level3_Shift correctly, enabling the use of characters like ~#{[|`\^@]}
on a french keyboard.

Under RH everything works fine concerning the keyboard!
I'm not really familiar with keyboard settings, s...

How to exit from Xen console?
How do you exit from a Xen domU console back to the dom0 if your
connection is from an SSH or Putty connection?
No amount of exits can get me out and I have to start close the PuTTY
session and start a new one when I have to get back to dom0

(?) Loss of fullscreen mode with freenx-0.5.0-8.c4
I've currently got the nx-1.5.0-1.centos4.i386, freenx-0.5.0-8.c4.noarch, and nxclient-1.5.0-141.i386 packages installed on a couple
of CentOS 4 update 3 systems and I'm getting the same results on all of them. I got the new version of freenx via "yum update" and
it appears to have "broken" fullscreen mode. The connection config file I have been using does have the

No ~ in JGR
...gn from the keyboard to the
console. Copying it from old code works fine. Using the traditional GUI
works as usual.
I have a Swedish keyboard layout, where ~ shares key with ?? and ^, all
reguiring a space after the hit to produce the sign on the screen.
The other signs from the key works, but AltGr + ~ followed by space just
gives a blank. What do I do wrong?

Wierd cursor jump when I type letter "y"
Guys. I have this problem for a long time.
In large number of times when I type letter "y", like in "you" my typing
cursor jumps 2-3 rows up or 1-2 words to the left.
I am unable to understand why. Could it be something with lap-top
keyboard? Typing rate?
CentOS 5.5 Gnome, I mostly use Firefox and Thunderbird.

The code to set the `cra' parameter for a windows() device (and hence
the base character size of symbols) is more robust.
The code handling Ctrl-like keys has been changed and ought to be more
robust (AltGr on Danish Windows NT used to misbehave.)
savePlot recognises filename="clipboard" (or "") for wmf plots.
The installer has always been version-specific and now tests it is
being used for the right version.
