RBD volume not made available to Xen virtual guest on openSUSE 15.2 (with libvirt 6.0.0)
Hi there,
Since upgrading to openSUSE 15.2 (which includes libvirt 6.0.0) the
virtual guests don't get their RBD disks made available to them. On
openSUSE 15.1 (which includes libvirt 5.1.0) that worked fine. The XML
is as follows:
<domain type='xen' id='7'>
<name>mytwotel-a</name>
<uuid>a56daa5d-c095-49d5-ae1b-00b38353614e</uuid>

It's QEMU 4.2.1-lp152.9.6.1.
I've tried updating it from the Open Build Service repos but there's too
many version conflicts.

UPS Socomec is unavailable appears in the logs
Hello,
we have two UPSes - one Galaxy and one from Socomec, both monitored by the NUT server.
The NUT server runs the version 2.7.2.
We have roughly 3500 clients running upsmon, reading the status of both
UPSes. They run mainly the version 2.6.4 and some 2.7.2.
We observed the following on both client versions, regardless whether
we run upsmon in the daemon or debug mode:

Hi.
I tried to migrate my storage(smb) server to more newer version, but faced
with 'segfaults", after(in progress) client authenticating, when samba
tries to start a new smbd instance (as i understand). I saw client
authentication success, which interrupts in following places:

severe error in SSH session key recovery patch
http://www.core-sdi.com/advisories/ssh1_sessionkey_recovery.htm
includes the line of code:
kill(SIGALRM, getppid());
This is contained within what is listed as an "unsupported and
untested patch" developed by SSH.com.
The problem is that the arguments to "kill" are in the wrong order. In
other words, to obtain the effect that was apparently intended, the

Re: RBD volume not made available to Xen virtual guest on openSUSE 15.2 (with libvirt 6.0.0)
Thanks Jim,
Looking at the logs for the working and non-working setups, the command
line for QEMU is identical and the qmp commands almost the same: they
both do "query-chardev" and "query-vnc" and the working setup does an
additional "qmp_capabilities" which is likely not relevant.
So I guess it must be in QEMU - I'll head over to the bug tracker.
Thanks

Retry interval for attempting to set up a tunnel
Hi,
We set up tinc tunnels over 3G when the connection becomes available. It is a mobile environment so connections come and go frequently. We send tinc an ALRM signal to retry a connection, but somehow this fails once in a while.
Is there a way to influence the retry interval for connections that are down and the interval increment? We would like to be able to set this to 1 minute after ALRM.

Segmentation fault with latest 1.1 revision
Hello,
I am trying 1.1 branch and I experience a segmentation fault upon ALRM signal.
This looks like a race condition.
I have my tincd daemon instantiated manually in if-up.d/jmuchemb (without IF_TINC_NET) and when if-up.d/tinc runs, it sends a ALRM signal that makes tincd crash.
It fails here:
Core was generated by `tincd -D -n jmuchemb -d -o ConnectTo srv -o srv.Address 81.x.y.z -o

Some feedback on Libfuzzer
...rflow might be safe. I would also like to have an
ALRM handler but that requires calling alarm() on every call and I'm
not sure if the setitimer in Libfuzzer can be disabled or if it'll
interfere with that. Maybe there's a better approach, I could call
setitimer and if I see more than n ALRMs during the execution decide
it's a fault. Again it would be nice if Libfuzzer provided that
itself.

around too. I guess the intent is to pass two directories, one which
starts empty and is intended to receive the results an...

Can asterisk be programmed to make "alarm calls"?
Those of you whom have a free Washington State phone number from ipkall.om
will know that one has to use the number at least every 30 days or else
the number becomes disconnected.
I have 3 numbers pointed at my asterisk my which work very well but I
still had the 30 day problem.
Is there a way that I can program asterisk to make a call to my WA numbers
so that they wont get disco'd? I'm

Re Wine and games (Correction)
I installed wine 0.9.35 on Mepis95. Mask of Eternity still crashes
immediatelly. Hewever Ages of Empires playes slow only. A well known simptom
which with my Radeon card can be solved by setting in xorg.conf for the
device
Option "XAANoOffscreenPixmaps" "true"
After which it playes perfectly. (This is also true for 0.9.319)

Hi,
some questions or wishes..
- i have some nodes with a dynamic ip, how does tinc handle this? are there
keep alive pings?
- if i want to force a reconnect (for example if an ip changes), i tried
kill -ALRM
kill -HUP
but there were no reconnects, yes the manpage tells it, but a reconnect
would be nice.
- it is very important to me, that the interface does not go down.
- when will tinc 2

Tincd fails to resolve domain names before it is started name resolution becomes available.
If tincd is started before name resolution comes up, it keeps failing
for ever to resolve domain names in Address= host configuration
variable after name resolution becomes possible.
I think tincd should succeed in resolving domain names after name
resolution becomes available.

Wine does nothing Help !!!!!
Hello everyone..
I have installed wine-0.9.30 from source ( just ran tools/wineinstall from the source directory ). It installed without any problems. But when I try to run any program using wine it does nothing, just hangs there. It does not give any error also.
I did a "strace" on the process here is some of the strace output.
