Missing attributes on RODC.
Hello, we use Samba 4.10.13 as RODC for our Kopano mailserver. We have
certain users and groups, were not all attributes are synced over to the
RODC. For the users in question, we found out that if we do a manual
"samba-tool rodc preload user", then that would also make the missing
attributes appear on the RODC. So, any reason why certain attributes

Error message in Samba logfile = Invalid key XXX given to dptr_close
This message comes then if by NT server with BrighStore a Backup is started.
The Backup is made by a Share.

Fast explains.
On the NT server work BrightStore with version r9, more highly does not go
because of NT.
On the REHL4 side works (worked) BrightStore Linux Client r11.5. Smaller
version does not work goes because of RHEL4.
BrightStore servers r9 and Linux Client r11.5 are not compatible
unfortunately.
I must now decide everything with the version Share to work to get.
Or the operating systems on the servers change.

problem with all capitals 8.3 filenames
Dear list,
After having upgraded from Samba-2.2.8a to Samba-3.0.4 I have problems
getting "short preserve case = Yes" to work properly for filenames having
only capital letters when seen from NT-4.0 explorer. A mixture of lettercase
filenames and all lowercase work fine. What I see is the following:
UNIX: Windows-NT:

ALLB != Allb
ALLB.DIR != Allb.dir

Fixing corrupt flac files
Hej,
well I'm not sure because those file that are corrupt have been around for a
quite long time. It could have been k3b but I'm really not sure. Right now I
was ripping with Audex and tagging with Audex/Amarok/kid3. Those files seem to
be fine though.
My lates approaches have been with Picard/beets :-)
I think it's not possible to share those files without getting in legal trouble
here or is it possible somehow to extrac...

idmap init ignoring domain ....
I have this error on my samba pdc, seems something related to winbind,
my pdc worked fine for some months and now this error make login very
slow and sometime the users are unable to load their roaming profile,
any hints?

openssh-based file transfers (e.g. rsync, scp, ...) are running 40 (!!) times faster via IPv4 than IPv6
...rm: There's NO dependency/relation between openssh and https, on Linux, correct? (Web Server is Apache)
