Regression testing Money 2004
Hi, I'm following the WineGit instructions to try and discover why Money 2004 doesn't run with 0.9.12 or later. This is the first time I have tried to do regression testing, so I need some help. Is this the correct group to ask? I have installed git 1.1.4, copied the GIT repository to my PC, installed g++, yacc and bison, bisected the source tree and compiled. I then ran Money and

Verify tomcat config
...od_jk/tomcat setup, and CentOS is perfect for the new box because the required components are included and the whole setup "just works" straight from installation. There seems to be surprisingly little documentation or how-tos on how to migrate from the above setup to httpd/mod_proxy_ajp/tomcat. I believe I have it working correctly on a test machine, but am looking for someone to look over the config to make sure it's correct and complete. The desired setup is: - httpd receives all requests - httpd processes all requests for static content - httpd passes all requests fo...

[slightly offtopic] A small, fast Apache2.2 (if there is such a thing)
Hi. I''m using Apache2.2 built from source + mod-proxy + ssl + svn. Everything works fine but I''m sure you I could disable a ton of modules during the build process and in httpd.conf to speed things up and run a tighter memory footprint. Has anyone bothered building Apache2.2 from source disabling all the unneeded modules. I am planning on going through the Apache docs but I

Stability of Rails
I''ve seen a lot of issue regarding the stability of Rails apps. I''m charged with investigation of Rails for my company and I''ve looked at numerous fourms, groups, etc. (Textdrive, here, etc.) and it *seems* like there is a stability problem with Rails (ie: crashes, etc.) Is this as common as it looks, or is this tied to things like Lighttpd (web server) or Typo

Memory Leak with stock Squirrelmail, PHP, mysql, apache since 5.3
Hi list, We are experiencing a memory leak on our SquirrelMail server since the 5.3 update. The server is fully updated, only stock rpms. The httpd processes are eating all the memory and after swapping like hell, the server became unresponsive and we must hard-reboot it. The server is not that much loaded (max 10-15 concurrent users but with tons of mail in their inbox). Configuration's

Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking

Need help reinstalling IE6
Hi All I have run the Uninstall for IE which ended by telling me to reboot. I didn't know what to do here, as it wouldn't let me out without a reeboot, so I ended up killing the setup.exe. Now when I try to re-install IE from the CD, it tells me that there are uncompleted uninstall actions requiring a reboot. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this? Tony

I can't use the forum
Hi all I want to post to the wine-users forum when I'm booted into Ubuntu Linux (because I do all my email posts when I'm in Windows) but the forum will not let me log on using my mailing list credentials (i.e the email address above and my password). If I try and subscribe from Forum Home using these credentials I just get told I'm already a subscriber. What can I do to get the
