Hi, I'm new to R. I'm trying to do some extreme value theory analysis, looking at the Mean Excess Plot of a series. These are the commands I type to get the plot: x=read.table("data.txt",header=T) goa=(x[,3]) meplot(goa) I can see the plot, but I would like to see the values of the x and y axis. hard-link reference error when trying to delete
Hello, all. I've encountered an odd error that I haven't been able to identify and resolve myself. Hoping someone here could provide some guidance. I'm using the following command to rsync files between two servers, over the internet (if that matters), via SSH: rsync -ahu --timeout=600 --bwlimit=5120 -v -e "ssh -i /path/to/key" --filter=". /path/to/filter" /path/to/source/ user at remote.server.com:dest This works perfectly fine. However, I recently realized that I forgot to the --delete option, so there are a great number of stale files on the...

The boot process stops after: Starting periodic command scheduler: crond. Trying to use the console yields: lhype_add: Failed to get DMA buffer from (nil): No such file or direct...

TBF settings
I presently use TBF with this syntax: tc qdisc add dev eth0 parent 1:100 tbf buffer=15000/8 LIMIT=30000 MTU=1500 parent class is a cbq with rate=128Kbit when I want to add PEAK, I get always RTNETLINK error: Invalid argument. Maybe be I don''t understand this parameter. What I know about it, it''s that it can control short-term burst traffic, and it''s what I need to do.

more on cbq parameters
While I''m thinking about that review of howto changes, here are a few other responses about things I don''t believe. I''ll be interested in more info if anyone has any. ==== [from new doc] Besides being classful, CBQ is also a shaper and it is in that aspect that it really doesn''t work very well. It should work like this. I''ve not noticed that it

the list is down but I''m working on it
Hi people The list is down, severly so. Mailman is pretty hosed which is probably related to repeated disk-full conditions. I''ll try to fix this tomorrow (Saturday). In the meantime, I''m considering moving away from Mailman, if anybody knows a better alternative, I''d love to hear about it in private. Thanks! -- http://www.PowerDNS.com Open source

Automatic keying IPSEC!
Lots of updates to the IPSEC documentation on http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.ipsec.html The page lists 4 patches which should be applied to 2.5.47 and 1 patch to be applied to the kame racoon Internet Key Exchange daemon. If these are all applied, everything I throw at it works, modulo some annoying logmessages. Especially new & cool is http://lartc.org/howto/lartc.ipsec.automatic.keying.html
