Primary Group SID incorrect - ahhhh
Hi, I'm running 3.0.33-3.29.el5_5.1 .. migrating from 3.0.21a with an LDAP back-end. I've use slapadd to import the LDIF file I've exported from my original samba server, but it seems like samba isn't grabbing the Primary Group SID from the ldif file. For Example: dn: uid=chris,ou=Users,dc=orgon,dc=com sambaSID: S-1-5-21-3318375643-2463009161-752822123-3028 sambaPrimaryGroupSID:

HFSC and that ATM overhead problem (Another VOIP QoS post. Ahhhh)
G''Day I would like to be able to use my VOIP telephone over a saturated ADSL link whilst enjoying optimum audio quality and utilising all of the bandwidth I pay for. It is about this situation that I write. HFSC appears to be the queueing discipline of choice for VOIP. In order for this to work, though, do I have to account for the ATM overhead in the small VOIP packets by defining my

CentOS 7, NSF, "feature"
In the last month, we've discovered a new, ahhhh, "feature" in the version of the version of NFS with CentOS 7: on startup, if it cannot resolve a given host, it dies. It does not continue on up, with all the other hosts it's exporting to, and just log a message. Is there a workaround, or a configuration, to change this "fail...

RJS Templates & Safari?
Hello, I tried Cody Fauser RJS tutorial (http://www.codyfauser.com/articles/2005/11/20/rails-rjs-templates) on my railsplayground dev site and got it to work when using Firefox, but when I tried it on Safari, nothing happens. Then I tried this tutorial - http://rewrite.rickbradley.com/articles/2006/02/06/rjs-templates Similarly, it works fine on Firefox... but with Safari the list is not

Installing from source (git, hg) on a fresh debian box
...root fs on unknown-blockdev (or something really close). I imagine that is because there is no initrd to load drivers for the hardware/fs or whatnot from? I dont understand why trying to run mkinitramfs says the kernel is too old. Is there perhaps something in the .config that I need to change or AHHHH... Anyway, thank you for any insight someone may be able to provide. I keep re-reading the same google results over and over with no help. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

I think the problem is virt-sysprep is too old, ie. predates us adding support for remote disks. IIRC you need >= 1.22 and you say below you are using 1.14.8 which is very old. Note that even if you have the latest version, no one has actually tested Ceph support which probably means it...

OSX Wine and USB Drivers
I feel like a big fat noob. I know that autodetect from device isnt supported yet (says so on the selection box, under the drives tab of winecfg) but I was curious if I could get some help. I have a couple different USB devices, a Ralink based wifi adaptor and a motorola V3 phone. There are drivers for both that I have, and work nativly on windows. cannot convert String into Integer
Hi, I''m trying to implement a live search that supports searching for multiple words. So for example, if I type "ruby rails" in the search field, I would return results that have either the word "ruby" in them or the word "rails" in them. However, this is just a background as to what the following code is trying to do and might not even be needed to fix

Cannot :order when using :offset and :limit in find
Hello all. I am using the Paginate_with_ajax code as described on the wiki but I am running into the following problem. The following code will work fine and retrieved unsorted records in a hunky dory fashion: @componentlogs = Componentlog.find(:all, :conditions => [ "cl_compname like ?", @criteria ], :offset => offset, :limit => items_per_page ) However if I try and add an
