isolinux problem since 3.74

to boot the installer, but I'm not sure why these changes are needed
since it works on other (released) machines I have access to. I'm
writing the list because I would like to determine if this is a firmware
bug that we can fix before we release, or a bug in isolinux that this
machine aggrevates?
Thanks,

Using Asterisk/callerid with "pay as you go" VOIP providers
...callerid but are there any
companies that offer a means of qualifying callerid so it works right?
Like it or not callerid is used heavily and without a proper return ID
many callee's don't answer and if they tried to return the call they get
no where. Seems like a big problem to me.
Very aggrevating.

Can Wine run Office XP?
...ram, chances are that you are going
to have to play with switches and configurations before you get your
application running. How will the XP license manager react to those changes? Also
there is a new release of Wine every few weeks, you don't have any
guarantee that a change in Wine won't aggrevate the XP license manager.
Finally there is nothing in Office XP that you can't get in Office 2K,
why give yourself grief.

[PATCH] Added option 'RetryDelay'
Being rather aggrevated when testing at the enforced 1 second
delay between each connection attempt and the useless 1 second delay
done after all connection attempts have failed I wrote a patch to make
the number of seconds delayed between each connection attempt
configurable.

Trouble with Samba 2.2.2 under HPUX (high cpu utilization)
...looked into the source for references to that file and it appears that smbd always tries winbind first regardless of whether or not its compiled to support winbind or not. This appears in my case to be rather heavy on system call overhead, dealing with errors. I think perhaps something that is aggrevating this is the broken Visual Basic Application ont he other end is written to open a logfile and write a line then close it to cause a sync to happen which has got to cause alot of access checks which intern will try to resolve uids.
Has anyone else run into problem with this? What should...

My system consists of the following hardware:
Abit BL7-RAID motherboard
Pentium 4 1.6GHz processor
512MB SDRAM
2 TDM400P cards
2 3Com 3c905 ethernet cards

Point&print problem: printer names show the ip, not the server name.
Hello,
i have this strange problem with printing and server naming after upgrading a server from
RH9 (running Samba 3.0.3 ) to Fedora Core 1 (3.0.7-2.FC1). Everything was working before
the upgrade, but i immediately started noticing some peculiarities after restoring the samba
files (/etc/samba, /var/cache/samba) and starting samba. The problem manifests by the
following:

Samba and LDAP backend - howto docs problems?
Hi all,
I have followed the instructions at
http://samba.mirror.ac.uk/samba/docs/man/passdb.html in an attempt to
set up a Samba v3.0.2 (supplied by Redhat as part of RHEL v3.0) PDC.
I have got as far as trying to get a windows 2k box to join this new
domain that I have created, however this fails with the error "Logon
failure: unknown user name or password".
Samba itself logs
