African IP addresses list
Hi all,
I am trying to block all IP addresses from Africa due to a high rate
of fraudulent orders coming from them.
I have some found some websites that can generate a range of IP
addresses. However, you would have to enter the ranges by country. I
can use those perhaps but that would mean I would have to get the
ranges for each country one by one.

E1 in South Africa
Hi Everyone
After speaking with my local telco service provider, Telkom, I am aware
that either we don't have E1 services in South Africa or the technical
skills of our the engineers leaves much to be desired.
Has/does anyone know if the Digium E1 (E100P) card is certified/works in
South Africa?
Thanks for the help so far!

Re: Can't install program from CDROM / DVD
Hi,
I'm sorry to dig this old post, but first of all : thanks for this answer. I had the same problem with the Native Instrument Vintage Keys and it solved my problem. :)
However, I am now trying to install Native Instrument West Africa and I have the same problem but this time it doesn't work...
I am on Ubuntu 10.11 with wine-1.3.33
I did :
sudo mkdir "/media/West Africa"
sudo mount -t iso9660 -o uid=***,gid=*** /dev/cdrom "/media/West Africa"
I had to add uid and gid to have the proper permissions.

Dear R-friends,
I have to simple questions. First I would like to exclude some columns from a dataframe and after I need select rows that satisfy some conditions.
My data frame looks like
Region Species Bodysize Weigth Age
Africa Sp1 10.2 20 2
Africa Sp2 12.2 12 2
Africa Sp3 15.3 18 3
Africa Sp4 11.5 40 4
Brazil Sp1 10.2 40 3
Brazil Sp2 22.2 32 2
Brazil Sp3 12.3 28 3
Brazil Sp4 21.5 30 5

Newbie questions from South Africa: Initial setup
...install asterisk'). I understand FXS/FXO, codecs available,
feature and functionality available etc. I have found several "Getting
Started" docs. None have proved good enough to get a system working (or
to understand how).
So my questions:
1. Is there anynone on this list from South Africa using Asterisk?
2. How can I setup a minimal system for testing.
Question 2 can be as simple as two SIP phones on my LAN. Preferrable
would be to setup my ISDN 2a lines but I cannot figure out how to
connect and setup ISDN on Asterisk. I have four MSN numbers on my ISDN
2a line.
I think its possi...

Ordering of stack in ggplot (package ggplot2)

http://learnr.wordpress.com/2009/03/17/ggplot2-barplots/ . However, the data
below produces a ggplot with the stacks sorted in alphabetical order from

Coloring Continents/Regions of World Map
Dear All,
This may be a silly question, but I have tried searching through a few of
the existing threads already, and haven't found any information on this.
I am trying to color code entire continents/regions (Asia, North America,
Africa, etc.) based on the number of relevant companies. The data would
look like:
World Location Companies
North America 4848
Western Europe 1972
East Asia 1373
Northern Europe 313
Southern Europe 276
Middle East 167
Pacific 209

Concatening two maps/shapefiles...
Dear All,
I'm new with mapping and using shapefiles in R.
I use the version: R 3.2.1 GUI 1.66 with Snow Leopard Mac OS (6956)
I want to build a map of the countries of Africa, in order to add points of collecting species of beetles, for later publishing.
library(maptools)
library(mapdata)
When I put the extreme coordinates of Africa, the map began only at longitude 0? and thus lacks the west africa part:
x<-map('world2Hires', xlim=c(-18,52), ylim=c(-35,38)...
