Okay went to: http://wine.dataparty.no/ form there downloaded the rpm, http://wine.dataparty.no/rpm/unstripped/wine-cvs-unstripped-013001-1.i386.rpm downloaded the config file and worked through the install guide. I edited the config file to mirror my window setup: c:\ = \mnt\c d:\ = \temp e:\ = \web f:\ = \documents g:\ = \music h:\ = \mnt\cdrom i:\ = \mnt\zip then as a check did $wine -v and

...driver under two 2.6 kernels and this 2.4 kernel, no different behavior. Tried turning ACPI off for the machine in the BIOS and on the kernel boot options line, nothing different. Tried swapping the card around multiple PCI slots, nothing different. Tried also compiling the 1.2.5 release against aformentioned kernel versions, as well as the 1.0 and 1.2 branches, and trunk, nothing different.
