rsync hangs during transfer
...r starts and after a short while it appears to hang after
some files have been transferred. The process establishes connection on
both sides so I did an strace from the remote machine (using the
rsync-debug script as described in the troubleshooting procedures). The
strace output is here
http://www.adrive.com/public/142cbf351c4b73a47c6e54ec3302b856041957d612ca68f440d16eccf950225c.html
rsync --version on both machines shows 'rsync version 2.6.9 protocol
version 29' and both machines are running Debian.
I would appreciate some ideas on where to look next.
Thanks in advance,

alsa 1.0.11 compile on 4.3
anyone compiled alsa 1.0.11 on 4.3? I get errors compileing alsa-drivers.
Thanks for any suggestions if you have done it.
Anyone can try it download from http://alsa-project.org and doing
the extract, ./configure and make. With out the make install nothing
should be
affected on your system if you dont want to use the new version.
Thanks,
jerry

Strange monitor behavior on forced DVI-D output
...screen 0
[ 7.834] (II) NOUVEAU(0): NVEnterVT is called.
[ 7.880] (II) NOUVEAU(0): Setting screen physical size to 270 x 203
[ 7.880] resize called 1024 768
Could you tell me, how to get the monitor running with 1920x1200, not 960x1200(what ist the half x of 1920)?
Nb.:propietary nvidi-adriver v340 works with LVDS and DVI-D-1, (but chrashes after a while)
Thank you a lot, Wolfgang
