Sorry for (I'm shure) my stupid question (and my bad english)... If this is not the right place to post this kind of question forgive me and please point me to the right mailinglist. I've a Samba 3 that works with an openldap server as a sole domain controller. I used to use the Microsoft usermanager. After a general migration/upgrate I am not able to create new users anymore. Paradox on a Samba share
I've been trying to get a program that uses Paradox databases over Samba shares set up for a company here and I'm smashing my head into a wall. This is a custom application written with Delphi/BDE accessing Paradox tables on a network share. Previously they used Netware and all was glorious until the box died, since they're version of Netware was bootlegged ages ago I decided to

samba 3 b3 and nt accounts

PS: this problem is best debugged from un/mount scripts and

Hai Bob, > I hope you remember me from a few years ago. And I apologize for the direct message. > I have a almost non-Samba question, I think. So, I do not want to post it to the forum, yet. Yes yes, i remember you :-) , and i have no problem with direct messages. How are you doing? I'll reply to the list with a CC for you. Because this involves samba also. And this might help

Samba PDC on FreeBSD problem?
Problem: Samba running as a PDC on a FreeBSD, the clients can connect without computer accounts and browse the shares in the domain. Should the PDC allow that? As far as i have understood the PDC should refuse since the computer does not have a account in the domain regardless that the user have a user account? Can it somehow be that i have named the computers as the users, user bob with
