VOIP Deployment Concerns
...Unfortunately quality begins to suffer based on the amount of upstream
used by the other users here. Comcast only has a 256 upstream on it's
basic package. I've read the IAX2 Trunking Comparisions from John Todd.
Where I'll be moving will more than likely be installing broadband from
Adelphia Cable 256up 3mbit down unless I have a valid reason to require
the 512up/4mbit down prem. package at approximately 80 a month. I don't
have any personal experience with them since I do live in NJ and will be
relocating to FL. Any advise would greatly appreciated.

Re: The LPBN radio station.
hi I wonder if you would like to join my localplayer.com network? I
operate on the same philosophy. All my artists are unsigned and I have
their consent to stream their music. on my station. I envision a drop
down menu that helps me navigate to the city of my choice.

libpri functionality
Does anyone have a document showing what all functionality libpri
supports? I am trying to get the configuration set with Adelphia/now
Telcove before they come out and drop a line that won't do what I want.
Quick run down of what I want to accomplish. We are getting a PRI
installed to our colocation provider. We will have 21 phone number
assigned to the group. We wish to use 1 number for ISDN backup to a

[offtopic] Cygwin.com / sources.redhat.com down?
Has anybody else noticed cygwin.com and sources.redhat.com being down?
The machine that answers to those addresses (and sourceware.org) is
refusing HTTP connections, and has been for at least 48 hours now.
Anybody here know anything about it? I haven't been able to find out
diddly-squat about it on the web...

"Delayed Write Failed" and other similar errors on Windows machines
...a known fact that Windows corrupts itself over time, and based on this
experience, it would seem reasonable to consider testing suspected Samba bugs
on a test machine with a clean install of Windows before accusing Samba.
Case closed. Thanks to all.

pace, attracting a portability effort and, in early 2000, an independent
