...ing, but I found
that at least on Imunes it is problematic to start TAP iface
on vimage on FreeBSD (at least 4.11 with I use).
To fix that, I think about coding in BSD NetGraph support
to tinc. But first I need to do testing if actualy netgraph
nodes ng_iface can be easly maintained within vimage.
Additionaly, ng_iface does not support Ethernet, so Im stuck
with IP.

Solr
Hi
I am giving Solr another try.
Using Solr 7.5 (from Archlinux AUR), I do not see anymore
the"solr/conf/schema.xml" neither the "managed-schema" folder. (as per
https://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/FTS/Solr)
Maybe some things have moved ?
Thank you so much

Yield-to-Maturity problem
...verybody,
I am not very advanced in my R skills so I really hope anybody of you can help me with this problem on which I have been working for hours.
I would like to write a function, which can guess the yield-to-maturity for any values: C, NV, r, s1, s2, and for a freely chosen tolerance (tol).
Additionaly, for freely chosen T; -> s1, s2, s3, ..., sT
I appreciate your help so much.
Greetings,
Alexandra Becker

Domain Groups missing

Sequence number: 1160906670
Num users: 63
Num domain groups: 0
Num local groups: 0
On a w23k server acting as a fileserver the security settings for
folders still show the assigned domain groups and they are still
working. But i can not add new domain groups.
Additionaly NT4 server management for users does no longer show the
groups. I can add a new group and get an access denied warning but the
group shows up in getent group afterwards.
I'm not sure if this behavior is related to the update to 3.0.23c, i
think i added a new folder and modified access rights...

But at least ist it planned for some time in the future?
then i can "survive" with a patch until then.
I wonder why these optimizations can be done in the mid-level and
additionaly in the backend.
as a non-compiler-guru i see redundancy there. perhaps it is possible to
write a "loop back"
backend that outputs llvm ir again so that the optimizations need to be
implemented only once.

Rome TW on Ubuntu 10.10 (maverick)
...W on my Linux system. Not sure what info exactly is sought, so please ask for additional information.
The system I tried to use is a Dell Latitude D830 with 3 GB ram and the latest Bios version A15
I've installed Ubuntu 10.10 32bit. I did install Compiz Fusion from standard Ubuntu repo's.
Additionaly, I installed Wine 1.2 and tried to install Rome TW (Gold Master edition DVD with version 1,5) from media. This failes with an Msi error during the installation of the miles sound modules. I upgraded to Wine 1.3.14 since it was listed in the AppDB as being capable of running Rome TW on Ubuntu but t...

prevent workgroups from appearing in browse list
Hi,
I have a samba 2.2.1a (cvs-06.08.2001) running as PDC for my domain, and it
is doing fine. But in the broadcast domain there are severeal other
workgroups (no domains) with their own Domain Master Browsers. Additionaly
there are always a lot of unconfigured computers not under my control,
which build their own workgroups (e.g. mdkhome, workgroup...).
My problem is now, how do I prevent all but some of the workgroups to
appeare in the browse list of my server ? I'd like that my users only see
some special wor...

sftp client: upload from pipe
...k
(sftp-client.c, do_upload() function):
if (!S_ISREG(sb.st_mode)) {
error("%s is not a regular file", local_path);
close(local_fd);
return(-1);
}
and nothing bad happened. It was still possible to upload regular files,
but additionaly there was an opportunity for upload data piped from other
command (what in my opinion is very useful feature) and even directly
from terminal. Would it be possible to remove this restriction from sftp
client?

Re: Libvirt newer than 2.1.0 doesnt start up

Laine was already correct about that, this error message only appears
when I manually try to restart libvirt after it already hung up. Maybe I
should've made that more clear. Additionaly, no, there are no files in
that directory, also I am pretty sure that I only got one instance of
libvirt running
According to the GDB log, the libvirt process is endlessly iterating
over [1]. Any ideas what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance

Problem with MTU > 1500, ifconfig segmentation fault
...there is a patch available for this, I would appreciate it very much
if you can point me to it.
I tried setting the default MTU in
$XEN/linux-2.6.11-xen0/net/ethernet/eth.c to 9000 and that allowed the
interface have an MTU of 9000. But even then ping packets with large
sizes would not work.
Any additionaly pointers will be highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Satish

Patch for ini plugin
...ok at ini to find a bug which made it crash at
startup. While fixing the bug I realized I could do some improvements
to the option reading code (espacally the action part).
So I went on and here we are.
This patch should make ini more robust, clean it up and fix also some
more crashes I had here.
Additionaly, I have a attached a second patch from Maniac which should
fix a couple of memory leaks in iniSaveOptions.
