nat router + sip phone adaptor (+adsl modem)
Hi all, I was wondering whether any of you have experience/info on Cable and/or ADSL modems that would come together with a SIP phone adaptor. What I am interested in is something that would plug directly into you ISP's cable (be it ethernet or adsl/phoneline), would combine a modem/router/nat such that on the other you could simply plug in your RJ-45 cable for your PC and a RJ-11 cable for the telephone. Something that would combine...

New Linux user with installation woes
My apologies if this has cropped up before, but a search and a look at the FAQ hasn't given me much. I'm a total newbie with the whole Linux thing. I've currently got a dual boot Ubuntu/Windows XP setup with a wireless adaptor as my means of internet. The driver that comes with the adaptor only talks Windows, and so it won't appear to work when I boot in Ubuntu. The only way I gather I can realistically get Wine to install with my knowledge is to copy and paste an address into an Ubuntu installer (please correct me i...

Problems with Devkit Lite setup
At one point I did have this kit working but since upgrading to the latest Asterisk, it no longer seems to. I had the following problems after several reinstallations: - USB adaptor had a proper dialtone, asterisk recognised the pickup, but pressing keys on the handset had no effect - USB adaptor produced a strange horrible tone, not a dialtone; pressing keys has no effect - USB adaptor silent; pickup not recognised by Asterisk So you can see my situtation has gradual...

memory error?
...h my memory. This would go a long way towards explaining the problems i''ve been having. This particular error is occuring when i''m not running xen so is obviously not something brought on by xen itself. The strange thing is that the NMI error is always followed by the TLAN: eth0: Adaptor Error = 0x180002, which says to me that either there is something wrong with my network card which is triggering an NMI, or that the NMI triggers an error in that network adapter. The memory itself is ECC memory in a Compaq Proliant 1600, maybe i can access the memory logs... Either way, what woul...

Hello, can someone recommend me wireless USB adaptor, which is supported in Centos 5.7? I found information about various chipsets, but nothing like "device X is OK". In most online stores the chipset is not announced. Thanks in advance.

Centos 8 and E1000 intel driver
Folks I know that support for the network adaptors supported by the 'e1000' driver have been removed from the base distribution. However, I have exactly that controller (Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet PCI, not PCIe). Is there a way for me to add support for that on Centos 8.1? Perhaps a driver in an RPM package? Thanks David

Adaptors in new pass manager
...new pass manager, the above code would look something like this. FunctionPassManager FPM; FPM.add( some_function_pass_1() ) FPM.add( some_function_pass_2() ) MPM.add( std::move(FPM) ) Now is this code exactly identical to code in legacy pass manager shown above or how is it different? 3. Can adaptors be used in custom pass to change the schedule of pipeline? 4. Can adaptors be used to decide on the sequence of passes to be run such that sequence yields better results? By deciding I mean searching/trying out different sequences(like we search for good solutions in machine learning) Regards Su...

ffmpeg adaptor for ogg123
Hi all, I'm not sure if this is interesting to you guys (I'm also not 100% convinced this is the correct list) but I hacked up an adaptor for ogg123 to allow it to use ffmpeg as a decoder. It currently only recognises WMA files (I wanted to be able to play my wife's music from my Linux music server) but it would be trivial to extend to any other formats ffmpeg supports. Anyway, if you're interested let me know and I'll p...

When I perform lsusb -t it says my B&B electronics adaptor uses driver ftdi_sio How do I get the nut to read information coming from that??
