pretended size postscript and size of the graphic device window
Dear list members!
I've two questions concerning graphic export:
a) I want to export my graphics as PostScript files. in this way I use the postscript() function. The tricky part is that they must have a pretended size (7 x 7 cm) and an absoulte font size (10pt).
b) how can i (permanent) change the size of the graphic device window?
Best regards

help with writing function
I'm trying to write a function that takes a vector of length n and then
takes the first value of the vector i.e j=1 and forms a new vector of
length n (i.e replicate the first value n times). This function will
then calculate the absoulte difference of the original vector and the
new vector and store the results omitting the difference between the
value and itself. This function should

New Asterisk Implementation
....
I work at a college, and we currently support just under 300 regular analog lines to
the offices and whatnot.
I was wondering.. Is asterisk ready for such a job? Would I be making a mistake
to deploy this across the campus at this time?
It seems that Asterisk is extremely powerful and I absoultly love the way it appears
to integrate into almost any existing system, so it would be fantastic if I could
deploy it successfully.
I do understand that I would need to replace all of my existing telephones with VoIP-capable
phones, and that I'll need to re-wire most of the campus telephone inf...

Newbie question: "Windows - Delayed write failed"
I ran into this problem all of a sudden out of nowhere......I boted several times and it appeared to fix itself...windows XP....but it did not....so I again hit the F8 when rebooting....and instead of trying to boot into the safe mode I rebooted into the DEBUGGING MODE........I don't know what happened.....but I did not loose any data and it booted up as if nothing happened....I then went to

Procmail patch for dovecot delivery
Hello!
As discussed in the previous thread about "Dovecot deliver logging
problem and procmail" I have made a small patch for procmail to deliver
through dovecot's deliver program (or any other delivery program).
So Procmail does not write the mailboxes directly any more. So delivery is
done through pipes and an external program which can deliver the files.
Since dovecot's

Ldapsearch against Samba AD returns records outside the search base

restriction.
There have been some pretty major changes (which allowed Samba's AD DC
to grow to the scale and performance it now has) between 4.9 and 4.11,
and I'm very keen to learn as much as possible about this bug.
To be clear, I consider this a very serious regression, you absoultly
should expect Samba to honour the LDAP specification and match Windows
AD behaviour!
That you can reproduce it with ldapsearch is awesome. Does it
reproduct with ldbsearch? Please run it like this:
ldbsearch -H ldaps://<samba DC> -s one -b

3.0.10 vfs problem with file_ext_map
Hi,
I'm having Problem in getting the file_ext_map
(http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/file-ext-map/file_ext_map3/file_ext_map3.c?rev=1.2)
vfs modules running with samba 3.0.10. I'm trying the cvs-version of the
module which was originally coded for samba 3.0.0. It compiles fine
against current samba code, but when I try to use it samba complains
that it can't find the vfs

Bingo - the purist will use an Ambisonic array - but there are many still
suffering with 5.1

HTB: far unequal behaivor at a slight conf rate change
Hi all!
I''m working in a " _really_ end user simple", yet powerfull, flexible,
scalable, GPL htb/htb-init front end, but now, in the "test fase" im facing
an utlimate problem...
Absoult minimalistic scenario: #Use a FIXEDFONT to read this

locked account accessable via pubkey auth
maybe this is a silly question ;-) But why is it possible to login on a
machine with a locked account (passwd -l ) via pubkey-authentication
(authorized_keys) ?
I use OpenSSH3.01p1on Solaris8 with PAM support so I thought this should not
happen.
If this is the normal behaviour and built in intentionally what would be the
easiest way to lock an account without deleting the users authorized_keys ?

[RFC v4 00/12] drm/nouveau: Introduce CRC support for gf119+
Nvidia released some documentation on how CRC support works on their
GPUs, hooray!
So: this patch series implements said CRC support in nouveau, along with
adding some special debugfs interfaces for some relevant igt-gpu-tools
tests (already on the ML).
First - we add some new functionality to kthread_work in the kernel, and
then use this to add a new feature to DRM that Ville Syrj?l? came up

No subject
Is there another way of doing the bindings so that the Windows share doesn't run on TCP/IP but will still work with SAMBA? If so, where in the docs should I be looking, and if not - maybe this should be something discussed by the SAMBA dev people..
Regards,
Marc.
