Start native linux apps from a wine app
Hi to all! This is my first post!
I'm trying to use carbide.ui with wine and it works well.
But I've got a problem: this apps needs to use an external, selectable app to edit images and sound files. I don't want to install gimp for windows on wine to integrate it, so I would like to know if is there any way to start a completely native application from a windows app, just like wine

How to use the wineprefix with another wine-path
Hi, there
I recently purchased a copy of bordeaux in order to try the dib engine (and pulse) in wine1.2
I would like to use this in already installed bottles.
So I tried something like this:
code: [export WINEDIB=ON]
then (as an example)
code:[/opt/bordeaux/bin/wine | env WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-test wine winecfg]
This does create a wine bottle, but in this way the dib engine doesn't get loaded

How do I get this app to write to database
Hi,
I've been trying to install this app: http://www.albumplayer.com
"www.albumplayer.com" in WINE
In Crossover it runs fine, but unfortunately not in WINE
Albumplayer started to work with a new graphical engine
http://www.graphics32.com www.graphics32.com in the latest beta releases
(5.1)
and this isn't supported by crossover and it's likely not to be supported
soon.

Re: Performing a Regression Test
Hi, I try to do a regression test for the first time.

I'm stuck
Here's how I went

Improve application database
Hi,
I see a lot of programs tested in the database without any reference how it
was installed.
One has to reinvent the wheel once again.
Also the line between a bug and a wrong install is a fine one, it would
clear up some test data as-well
So why not force a howto in the database, same like is being done with what
works & what doesn't work
