Seeking advice about ISDN BRI Cards
...ers (I googled around already) are welcome... My system to fit this card into, is FreePBX Distro with Asterisk 11, already running with incoming SIP trunk(s); I wish to extend it to accept incoming 'landline' ISDN BRI (6 channels / 3 ports). So far the interesting option(s) were Sangoma A500 and Digium B410P... (the appliance is adopted from an old desktop that still only ever has PCI2.0 slots, no PCIE) (there are also OpenVOX's cards, although their installation guide is somewhat, well... in the old kernel era...) Anyone who use(d) any of the above, not necessarily on a FreePBX...

Sangoma Wanpipe Driver Compile for DAHDI Failure
I'm trying to get my Sangoma B600 working with Asterisk 1.6.1 and DAHDI 2.2. I've tried running ./Setup dahdi (and with --64-bit_4GB flag, running amd64) and the compile fails with this for many versions of the driver (incl. 3.3.16, 3.3.16.22, and 3.4.1): Building modules, stage 2. MODPOST 1 modules CC /usr/src/wanpipe-3.3.16/patches/kdrivers/wanec/wanec.mod.o LD [M]

Configuring Sangoma BRI with zaptel?
Hello, there has been a post to this list somewhere arount april which said that it is possible to use a Sangoma BRI A500 card with zaptel and asterisk bristuff. That is, without sangoma_brid and sangoma_mgd daemons and without woomera channels. Could anybody give me a short hint how to configure this? I tried wanpipe-driver + zaptel + asterisk-bristuffed, but I couldn't get zaptel to recognize the sangoma chann...

ISDN
Hi, I'm in the process of setting up Asterisk in a SOHO environment using ISDN for trunking. More specifically a BRI 2B+D circuit where one SPID is used for the business and the other is used for personal. The circuit already exists, but is presently being interfaced to POTS phones via a TA. This configuration is not very common in the US, but we are fortunate that our LEC offers it price

Sangoma BRI card -- National ISDN/North America support (Having problems with analog disconnect supervision?)
Hi, folks! Sangoma has an informal user survey up on their home page (at http://www.sangoma.com) asking if people would use their A500 card for North American BRI, if it were supported. I encourage anyone with an interest in voice BRI in North America to vote; this information will be used for deciding whether to make the investment in developing a National ISDN driver layer for it. Benefits to users of BRI include the vastly bet...

Digium B410P and 8 ports connectivity
Hello, Junghanns and BeroNet offer 8 BRI ports cards. Do you know if Digium's B410P has an inner TDM bus so that an 8 BRI ports subsystem (2 PCI slots used, but 1 one set of interrupts) could be made out of 2 B410P ? I know you could (theorically) do this with Junghanns and BeroNet cards. Cheers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

klibc parisc64
I hacked out a rough first implementation of parisc64 for klibc last month, and only just got around to testing it now. The good news, it compiled fine on the first shot. The bad news, it failed to link usr/klibc/libc.so, and I'm not clueful enough to know why. hppa64-linux-gnu-ld -Ttext 0x40001000 -o usr/klibc/libc.so --start-group [...] usr/klibc/socketcalls/recvmsg.o

Advice on ISDN and Asterisk in the UK
Hello all What I'm looking for is some plain speaking advice on ISDN. Currently using 4 analog lines connecting via a four port TDM400P FXO card. We need to physically move our installations, and on requesting the analog lines be moved - our telco (BT) is suggesting we replace our analog lines with ISDN2. We would have 3 x ISDN2 connections, giving us six voice channels. They've

North American voice BRI - Informal survey
Hi, folks: I remain intrigued by the gap in BRI implementation between North America and Europe, and I wanted to get feedback from the list members on the matter. I'm seriously considering making the leap in our office. In Europe, the idea that an office that does not have enough lines to justify PRI would use analog lines is perceived as technologically backwards, and yet that's what

4.9-RC and bge

Getting tons of: Sep 30 12:23:16 zige /kernel: bge0: gigabit link up Sep 30 12:23:46 zige last message repeated 98 times Also getting some TCP retransmits. This causes noticable delays in pretty much everything I do now. Not a problem prior to the SUP. I was on 4.8-STABLE before. When pulling/replacing cables, it went into a mode where it would
