AsciiDoc 8.6.3 release redux
FYI (mostly Charles and Arjen), a2x version has just been bumped to 8.6.3 in
their trunk.
So we will be able revert r2686
cheers,

I noticed that somewhere around this commit, the documentation stopped
being built by default in BuildBot.

building NUT on Mac OS X Yosemite (website/documentation)
...error is only when building nut-website:
sort: stray character in field spec: invalid field specification `4.1,4.5rV'
Also, you had mentioned dependencies for building documentation. This affects NUT non-website builds as well, but the list looks something like this:
? asciidoc
? asciidoc-a2x (if packaged separately)
? docbook-xsl (symptom for Debian bug #635347; xsltproc will otherwise try to download DocBook files from the net)
? dblatex
We are trying to reduce the dependencies needed to build the .tar.gz snapshots, so you might want to try one of them:

Hello,
Here is a summary of discussions around NUT builds on Mac OS X 10.10.

Polynomial fitting
...ction that i would like to approximate
with a polynomial. I already looked into poly, but was unable to understand
what to do with it. So my problem is this. I can generate virtually any
number of datapoints and would like to find the coeffs a1, a2, ... up to a
given degree for a polynomial a1x^1 + a2x^2 + ... that approximates my
simple function. How can i do this with R?
Your help will be highly appreciated!

Arjen,
I think this is a bug in older versions of asciidoc/a2x where it
ignores --destination-dir and tries to write the intermediate XML file
to the read-only source directory.
Looks like you have asciidoc 8.4.5 - not sure I've heard of a2x 1.0.0.
I haven't looked too closely at the new m4 rules for grabbing the
asciidoc versions, but we might...

R package for bootstrapping (comparing two quadratic regression models)
...on models with non-parametric
bootstrap.
However, I do not know which R package can serve the purpose,
such as boot, rms, or bootstrap, DeltaR.
Please kindly advise and thank you.

The two quadratic regression models are
y1=a1x^2+b1x+c1
y1= observed migration distance of butterflies()
y2=a2x^2+b2x+c2
y2= predicted migration distance of butterflies (based on body mass)
x= body mass of butterflies
null hypothesis: a1=a2 and b1=b2 and c1=c2

nut package with Riello UPS support
Thanks for you reply.
I have installed asciidoc with "pkg_add asciidoc"
And it returns something:
# asciidoc fgh
asciidoc: FAILED: input file /root/nut/fgh missing
# which
asciidoc
/usr/local/bin/asciidoc
Maybe there is any way to skip building man pages.
This is not the such main thing as a new devices support.
I also could built the driver that I need

significant test of two quadratic regression models (lm)
Hello,
I am work with two quadratic regression models
y=ax^2+bx+c with the function of lm.
y1= observed migration distance of butterflies(y1=a1x^2+b1x+c1)
y2= predicted migration distance of butterflies (based on body mass)
(y2=a2x^2+b2x+c2)
x= body mass of butterflies
Now I would like to check the two regression model differ
by testing if the coeffients (a, b, c) of the y1 and the y2 model differ
(null hypothesis: a1=a2 and b1=b2 and c1=c2)
Please kindly advise any significant test in R for the purpose.
Also, please...
