Trying to explain mutt+dovecot(ssl) to myself :(
...t to imaps (SSL). In the end I got it all working. I then sat back and thought: "I kinda don't understand the SSL/TLS part even though it works". And I hate setting stuff up and not truely understanding the mechanics of it. So I started to write about it and am stuck. Can those that _understand_ mutt+ssl have a read of what I wrote to myself and give me your $00.02 worth (corrections etc). Trying to explain mutt+ssl and getting it all wrong --------------------------------------------------- * mutt(with openssl support built in) initiates with a "SSL-Client-Hello" t...

Real sh? Or other efficient shell for non-interactive scripts
...to write a non-GPLd POSIX compliant patch (note that gpatch is not POSIX compliant). > > Again, don't follow the agitation from OSS enemies. Crash!!! -- Permission Error
I'm currently re-installing db41 port. Earlier using 'innodb_force_recovery = 6' seemed to fix that PANIC error. But I don't understand this permission error. I've tried various permissions as well 777, 766, 666, 760, etc etc. I've also ran mysqld_safe as root user, but with same permission error. Also tried different directories without luck. When I log in to the

thanks for your input, fletcher
hey fletcher, thanks for your input here. :+) and -- quite obviously -- your program will be whatever it is that _you_ think that it should be. of course. the thing is, i am certain that i have been clear that the feature that i believe will be "killer" is on-the-fly formatted display. that's my stand. and i'd say my reasoning has been equally clear, namely that this
