Sites that use Mongrel
It would be an interesting topic. I bet there are quite a few.
I just released one that 1/2 runs on Mongrel. http://direxionfunds.com
It was released before it was _quite_ ready, but the last of the
content is getting inserted today. I am still waffling on how I will
leave it running longterm. Right now it uses a slightly modified
version of the Mongrel http parser with EventMachine to front IOWA,
all reached via an Apache proxy, but I am also alternately running i...

RHEL changes

Yes, in two possible ways.
First, Red Hat could stop making RHEL. The amount of work that goes into
this is _quite_ significant, particularly in terms of the long-term
stability that everyone is very excited about. Rebuild projects would then
have nothing to rebuild.
But, Red Hat isn't going to do that, because RHEL is important to Red Hat
both as a product and as a base for the company's other projects...

Display of NAs in character columns of a data frame under fix() or edit().
Example:
xxx <- data.frame(x=1:26,y=letters)
xxx$x[c(2,4,6,8)] <- NA
xxx$y[c(1,3,5,7)] <- NA
yyy <- edit(yyy)
The missing values in xxx$y appear as blanks in the spreadsheet window that
appears, whereas the missing values in the numeric column "x" appear as "NA"
(as I would expect).
Is this a bug or a feature?
cheers,

Converting ext3 to ext2
According to this:
http://www.redhat.com/support/wpapers/redhat/ext3/why.html
ext3 is forward and backward compatible with ext2... Any user who
wishes to un-journal a file system can do so easily...
I am assuming un-journalling is the equivalent of converting it to ext2. How
do you do this? I haven't been able to find anything. The reason I want to
do this is so I can modify my

[PATCH 0/5] [RFC] builder: handle unavailable repos
In case a repository of virt-builder references files (e.g. the index)
that cannot be downloaded (network issues, 404, etc) then virt-builder
errors out on this situation. This is not a nice situation, from an user
POV.
This series does some refactoring to allow to better handle downloading
failures, and handle the failures gracefully in virt-builder.

ATI VGA Passthrough / Xen 4.2 / Linux 3.8.6
Hi,
I''m trying to get VGA passthrough to work to an XP x64 guest, and I''m
seeing "interesting" things happening.
I''m using the kernel and userspace tools from here:
http://xen.crc.id.au/support/guides/install/#
on Scientific Linux 6.
I gave up on trying to get an Nvidia card to work in the guest having
read about the extra patches required to get a
