sieve_extprograms: how to filter original message twice?
Hi, I use dovecot and sieve_extprograms to encrypt all incoming messages with the help of a Python script. Now, I want to process the _original_ message a second time. However, as expected, the second filter is applied to the already filtered message. For reference, here's a copy of the sieve script in question: if address :matches "To" "X at Y.Z" { fileinto "INBOX"; filter "gpgit.py" [&...

Can DISubprogram be renamed?
...y designed to do intra-module cloning) and cloning function-attached metadata in the same way that we clone all other metadata. Differential Revision: http://reviews.llvm.org/D18583 During CloneFunctionInto we seem to create a new DISubprogram which still carries the name of the _original_ function. which creates certain confusion with debugging scope. Was it designed that way, or am I missing something here. Thanks a lot. Is DTrace Vulnerable?
There is a Slashdot discussion today titled "Cambridge Researcher Breaks OpenBSD Systrace". Slashdot anonymous member has a comment "Even Sun''s Dtrace might be vulnerable." I don''t think it is. ....cfg', patch: - PATH ./ + PATH BOOT/SYSLINUX/ 3_ There are additional potential improvements and corrections (I mean in addition to the instructions + amendment), and there are alternative ways too. Since the instructions (in the email I linked-to above) start by: "Starting from an _original_ (so-called "hd-media") boot.img..." then it should be relatively simple to get a diff/patch to send to Debian, I would guess. Unless there are complaints or disagreements or different opinions in Debian as to how to get this done, your original goal has been achieved (with the c...

GEP with a null pointer base
...and/or 2. you think is illegal and why? > > -- Sean Silva > Sean, Yes I can see your point, but in practice that’s not how it’s done, no one expands the “+nsw” into control flow and then applies Hal’s transform to it to get Dan’s transform. Dan’s transform doesn’t alter the _original_ CFG and is done as part of induction-variable analysis and simplification. Hal’s does alter the _original_ CFG, and uses a totally different analysis as well as different transformation. The only thing they have in common is the assumption that the program is UB-free at runtime, but they have nothi...

Pointer to covariates?
In the first line, use the dist function, found in library mva, to get the distance between each pair of rows. From this calculate an incidence matrix for which element i,j is true if row i in dat equals row j in dat (and false elsewhere). In the second line, for each row calculate the indices of the matching rows and take the minimum of those as the key. incid <-

Upgrading Drive, Best Practice?
Hi, This might sound like a n00b question, but I've honestly never done this with a Linux machine... (it is running Centos3) We have a 1U mail server with two 36GB SCSI drives in a hardware mirror config. There's no more room for any other drives in the case. It's filling up, so we now have two 74GB drives ready to take their place. Possible solutions that I've come up

fixing debian's hd-media image
After some discussion/debugging behind the scenes, we are back on track, with updated Debian packages. 0_ Starting from an _original_ (so-called "hd-media") boot.img mounted in "target" (or "$target", or some similar notation), and the version of Syslinux-related packages in the OS should be "6.04~git20171011.af7e95c3+dfsg1-6" or newer. At the moment I'm writing this, the packages a...

Unexpected alteration of data frame column names
Hi, I'm using data.frame(..., check.names=FALSE), because I want to create a data frame with duplicated column names (in the real life you can get such data frame as the result of an SQL query): > df <- data.frame(aa=1:5, aa=9:5, check.names=FALSE) > df aa aa 1 1 9 2 2 8 3 3 7 4 4 6 5 5 5 Why is [.data.frame changing my column names? > df[1:3, ]

What systems are you using to listen to Oggs?
What rigs do you folks use to listen to your music? I have a P-III 500 with Altec Lansing speakers in the dining room and a P-II 350 with Labtec speakers in the Guestroom/office. Sorry, I can't remember what model the Lansings are off the top of my head. The Labtec speakers are fairly cheap. I have a PCI ensonique sound card in the P-III system. I not sure what kind of sound card is in the

Using rpcclient or samedit to randomise trust account passwords
...nt (or samedit) make two separate connections, one to change $MACHINE.ACC, the other to store the same password on the PDC. don't worry: if rpcclient (or samedit) cannot connect to BOTH machines, it will NOT attempt to change EITHER of the passwords. It is not possible, however, to obtain the _original_ passwords, for security reasons (well done microsoft for removing LsaQuerySecret from NT 4.0 SP4 by the way! :) so if this procedure fails half-way, i'm afraid that you're going to need to rejoin the workstation to the domain. You will probably find that there is some other serious problem...

[PATCH 0/4] ia64/xen: paravirtualization of hand written assembly code
Hi. The patch I send before was too large so that it was dropped from the maling list. I'm sending again with smaller size. This patch set is the xen paravirtualization of hand written assenbly code. And I expect that much clean up is necessary before merge. We really need the feed back before starting actual clean up as Eddie already said before. Eddie discussed how to clean up and suggested
