OpenOffice 3.3.0 crashing on CentOS 5.5
...ce have gotten very
unstable on my desktop which is a CentOS 5.5 i386 system.
After multiple crashes when doing embedded simple drawings
in OpenOffice writer (circles and lines with connections), I
started using the versions from Sun then Oracle. I am
now using version 3.3: openooffice.org3-3.3.0-9567. I've
lived with this but with version 3.x it has gotten really bad.
Display info: depth 16-bit, Intel Boradwater-G Chipset 965Q
Crashes I am experiencing now:
Writer sometimes using 100% CPU and X is unresponsive.
(I have to ssh to the workstation and kill Writer to recover.)

Bad values for acts_as_nested_set?
I moved from acts_as_tree to acts_as_nested_set because I need the
all_children method.
I''ve seen an alternative way to add this method to acts_as_tree here:
http://www.chuckvose.com/articles/2006/05/24/recursive-children
But I''d prefer to use the more efficient way of acts_as_nested_set (and
not to have to revert to my old code).
Anyway, here''s my issue: if I

persisting tree navigation
I have built a tree navigation for pages I have in a site, that loads
the content of each page into FCK editor. The parent nodes are shown at
the beginning, and the child nodes are in display:none hidden divs that
are toggled with scriptaculous bindup and binddown. If the user clicks
on one of the children, I want that div to remain visible on page
refresh. I''m pretty new with app

DCdiag tests
Hey all,
has anyone done dcdiag against his DC yet? It's made from a windows client on command line: dcdiag /s:<servername> What are your results?
With me some of the tests were not successful, e.g. ForestDNSDomain. My dcdiag is German so its output would not be so helpful for the mailing list. So somebody else can do a check to compare?
Thanks in advance
