ggplot map bounds
...ith the mapping portion of this
code
states <- data.frame(map("state", plot=FALSE,xlim=
c(-85,-75),ylim=c(33,37))[c("x","y")])
usamap<- ggplot(states)+geom_path(aes(x,y))
usamap
When I plot this the problem is that the bounds of the plot is from 31N to
38N and 90W to 75W. The problem is that I only need the bounds of the plot
to be from 33N to 37N and 85W to 75W. The way this is now, if I try to
subset the states object, I get a garbled mess of lines. The rest of the
code provides what I'm trying to do with the attached data.

Samba embedded device?
Hi team!
At work I have several small branch offices with ~5 PCs each. All PCs are
member of a Samba4 domain, whose DCs are on the headquarters (linked by
consumer grade VPNs)
I want to ship "some small, cheap, reliable and magical device" to each
branch, in order to provide just 2 things:
* AD replication
* File shares
That't it, period. Nothing fancy.
Suggestions??? What do you

Samba embedded device?
...Allwinner A20 (1Gb mem/100Mb
lan vs 2Gb mem/1Gb lan). Both have sata. The Wandboard quad is $40
more than the CT, but a quad cpu (vs duo).
A number of linuxes are available for the various armv7 boards. The
armv8s (64bit) are now coming out, but still pricey for my budget.
But going from 70-90w with the SFF to 2-3w for the arm system is VERY
attractive.
If you REALLY want a Samba appliance you really have to focus on ARM.
(IMHO).

My TDM-400P FXO experience
...so all the 12V power goes to the TDM.
For those who are curious, my setup:

- 256MB DDR SDRAM
- 2 x 2.5" HDD in RAID-1 configuration
- 2 x TDM04B (for a total of 8 FXO module)
- Trustix 2.0 with kernel 2.4.26
- Travla C137 Mini-ITX casing with 90W PSU.
FYI.

Device recommendation Salicru
My experience on situations like this is that it is almost always a bad
battery. Once load is removed, the voltage bounced back, and thus you
show time/capacity, but it's possible that the sag under load drops you
into LB, and causes the shutdown.
If the UPS has a battery test, give it a try, or load test the battery
external to the UPS if you can - I suspect that the UPS will be fine,

Firewall frustration
Well FWbuilder is NOT easy. The documentation does not match the
current GUI. Now the box is locked up. I will have to pull it again,
hook it up to a kybd/VGA and reset iptables....
Maybe Shoreline with webmin....
Problem is I want a REAL router/firewall with little work. Both public
and private nets have routable addresses. No NATing for me! I just
help write the RFC ;) And all the

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:
