Screening Mode Ghost
Hi,
It seems there is random behavior that causes screening mode to be
activated when a user calls and the line answered and then forwarded using
a dial command such as:

theora encoder reordering, order of puting data from DCT 8x8 blocks to huffman compressor, and puting result of huffman compressor to buffer bitstream memory
Good day!
I'm creating HDL IP CORE (for using in FPGA) for theora encoder (now only
I-frames).
I don't undestand one moment. Now i develop such stages:
1. From RBG(byer) to YCbCr converter
2. DCT processing (8x8 pixels blocks)
3. Quantizator of DCT coeff.
4. Zig-Zag of quantized DCT coeff.
and now i have uresolved last stage of compression - how i must send 8x8
blocks to huffman compressor? I don't understand ordering.
I must send all DC coeff (Y, than Cb,Cr), after all AC-0 (Y, than Cb,Cr)

multiplying columns in matrix
Say I have two matrixes: one is 8x28 and other 8x8
I'd like to multiply, for example, first and second column from the 8x8 and
plant them in first column of 8x28.
Then take first and third of 8x8 and plant into second column of 8x28.etc.
Any ideas?

MGCP w/8x8 DTA-310 and as5300 pstn gateway
Hello folks,
I'm trying to get an 8x8 DTA-310 running mgcp to work. I get no
dialtone & can't get it to ring. My mgcp.conf says:

labels and counting

"G" and "T" (as before). Additionally, I have got a second string
sequence of the same length giving a label for each character. The
labels are "+" and "-".
Now I would like to create an 8x8 matrix which contains the numbers on

Dear R users,
I am just starting with R (v. 1.0.0) and I use Vehables & Ripley's
MASS book for examples.
In the intro session, there is an example of a 2D histogram on an 8x8
grid:

efficient submatrix extraction

So the first submatrix would be

and so on. That is I want the matrix to be evenly divided into 2x2
submatrices. Now I'm also doing this subdivision into 4x4, 8x8 ...

Using Speex on Windows Phone 8
...have to find another API for audio playback/capture
or for echo cancellation? I know there are applications on the Windows
Phone that have great echo cancellation, but its frustrating that they
don't extend those APIs to the public.

Video conference apps/appliances?
...haps the folks at Digium. If I am mistaken in this
assertion, please reply to this note with a URL for the equipment or
software you're using that is commercially available.
Messenger XP? Anyone have instructions? (sorry, I don't have Windows
at my location, so I can't test.)
The 8x8 DV325 phone? There is no price or "buy this now" button on
their site, which points me towards the trail of vaporware.

error message in chol() (PR#1061)
...I am having accuracy problems involving the computation of inverse of
nonnegative definite matrices with solve(). I also have to compute the
Choleski decomposition of matrices. My numerical problems involving solve()
made me find a bug in the chol() function. Here is an example.
