ISDN supplemetary services (Hold, Retrieve, 3PTY) on HFC-8S
Hi,
I use a Cologne Chip HFC-8S card with chan_capi. (TE mode only)
So I've set up mISDN with CAPI and it's working just fine for 'normal' calls. But I do need more. Namely Hold, Retrieve and 3PTY which are not supported yet in the mISDN implementation of CAPI, whereas it is in the AVM Fritz Card CAPI driver for i...

Running dtrace sript for defined period of time?
Hello,
I''m building some simple monitoring tools to watch zfs storage servers.
Is this possible to run dtrace script for example 10 seconds? (Of course it is, I just trying to figure out how). Right know it has to be stopped by "CTRL-C"
I''m particulary interested in scripts like iscsiio.d, iscsiwho.d from

Hi,
a few month ago, I tried to install zaptel for my Beronet BN8S0 pci card... I
gave up and took hfcmulti/lcr. Now dahdi (2.2.1.1) seems to support the card
and I'm very interested to get it to work.

Is that an efficient way to find the overlapped , upstream and downstream ranges for a bunch of ranges
..._gr[idx]
other_genes <- all_genes_gr[-idx]
n <- countOverlaps(curr_gene, other_genes)
gene <- subsetByOverlaps(curr_gene, other_genes)
return(list(n, gene))
}?
system.time(lapply(1:100, function(idx) find_overlapped_gene(idx, all_genes_gr)))
However, for 100 genes, it use nearly ~8s by system.time().That means if I had 50000 genes, nearly one hour for just find overlapped gene.
I am just wondering any algorithm or strategy to do that efficiently, perhaps 50000 genes in ~10min or even less

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] thoughts about n-bit bytes for clang/llvm
..., Ken points out that Texas Instruments
the C5000 series is also 16-bit architecture. I played around with
TI's development environment today, and sure enough, it is perfectly
valid to do:
char foo = 32000;
It would be fairly easy to go through the LLVM/Clang code and change
8s to 16s, fork it, and be done with it. But I hoped we could fix it
in a more general way that would be useful to others. As Mike Stump
suggested would be the case, most of the places have been easy and
straight-forward to fix as we stumbled over them one-by-one.
But some cases are not so ea...

Does someone knows ?

RFC: Contained stateful AliasAnalysis
...ayBeCaptured, which is cleared after every
alias() call, in order to keep BasicAA stateless. In the example given in
the patch, not clearing the isCapturedCache reduces compile times by
another second. In some pathological cases I'm looking at, not-clearing
this cache halves compile times (from 8s to 4s).
There are a few other examples such as TBAA's getLeastCommonType and
BasicAA's DecomposeGEP.
Ideally we'd would have something along the lines of:
void keepCaches()
void clearCaches(),
with the first one called just before building MemorySSA, and the second
one called afterward...

pop3 exim4 dovecot
Hi,
I have an exim4 and dovecot system. The system has multiple accounts.
Exim4 is receiving emails in the /var/mail/user files and dovecot is
configured to use /home/user/mail (mbox) folder.
I have one account that dovecot is not processing replies/bounces/etc...
The data is being written in the /var/mail/user file by exim4 but as far
as dovecot is aware there is nothing in the pop3 inbox.

PLAIN-MD5 passwords?
After I found out that {CRYPT} doesn't support passwords longer than 8
characters, I decided to switch over to MD5 for user passwords in my LDAP
database. However, while I have no problem with Postfix + SASL, Dovecot fails
to authenticate.
Relevant bits from /etc/dovecot-ldap.conf:
user_attrs = mailAddress,,,,,
# The search string is identical to what's found in /etc/saslauthd.conf:
