No buffer space available
...ain this
morning.
I haven't had any of these since I made that change either.. So there's
some progress... :
Sep 8 12:53:40 sysvol dovecot: Temporary failure in creating login
processes, slowing down for now
TOP shows:
Mem: 267M Active, 5558M Inact, 1637M Wired, 217M Cache, 214M Buf, 87M Free
Swap: 4096M Total, 4096M Free
At this time, there are 120 imap processes, 10 POP and 1 dovecot and 1
dovecot-auth
pop and imap both have 6 login processes.
It doesn't seem like a load issue, but obviously something is set too
low or unavailable...
It's fixed for a period of time...

EFI & PXE-booting: very slow TFTP performance on a VMWare test setup
...lts to loading the kernel and an
initrd and starts booting from there. No problems here in BIOS mode. The
whole process takes about less than 8 seconds, measured from the moment
I hit enter in the menu.
One alternate choice in our menu is loading a rescue-environment that
has a much bigger initrd (87M instead of 13M) which loads in 12 seconds.
Now I'm testing the same setup in UEFI mode. The client boots, gets an
answer from the DHCPd, loads efi64/syslinux.efi and the supporting stuff
from the efi64-subtree, presents a menu, starts loading the kernel and
initrd and continues booting from th...

samba, kerberos, encryption types
Hi all!
Does samba support AES encryption for use with Win2008 controller domains?
If so, why automatically generated krb5.conf still contains only RC4-HMAC DES-CBC-CRC DES-CBC-MD5?
Also, why this file contains "preferred_enctypes" parameter which I can't find in "man krb5.conf"?
And last question: would samba use system krb5.conf if I set "create krb5 conf=no"?

suspicious memory usages
Following is the output of top command at my server and i find the high
usage very much alarming.
We are basically a team of three developers working on same
machine(remotely), so we run mongrel_rails servers from out ~/public/app
directories.
We also run a cluster of mongrel servers using apache2.2.
Is this much memory use normal?
