...on a Linux box with a HP network printer. This is working so well, that the only network problems that I have are with printers other printers "shared" by Win 95. Therefore: I was planning to turn an old 486 with an 80M HDD into a print server, however the minimum redhat installation is 86MB!! Does anyone know of a small distribution to achieve this? ...g quite a bit now for problems with running out of mbuf clusters. Im basically sending a 30k datachunk down 1000-4000 connections, but 1000 is more than enough to quickly fill upp 8192 mbuf clusters. I also tried setting maximum amount of mbuf clusters to 65536, but that only made the box hard-wire 86MB of 96MB RAM, making it just as unsuable as a dead machine. Hello, Sometimes when creating hard links to the rsync destination directory, it seems like the new directory (created from the cp -al command) ends up with all the data.
